Has you MSN fell silent? Don't know what half of the people are doing on your AIM list anymore?

Mods, regulars, and lurkers, here's your chance to make new internet contacts and discuss all things nuklear and otherwise on a personal basis!

The last time I participated in something like this was at Something Awful, where I was able to add about 40 people. A year and a half since then, I've maintained good acqaintances, but I only actually talk to one of them regularly. Coinsidering that he's advised as to what my university major should be, and helps me with my homework, I'll say it's an awesome catch. You can't put a price on it.

How does this work you ask? Simply reply with something like:

Background (or hobbies and such): Philosophy Major, Creative Writing Minor. I'm a musician and a composer (but not a DJ, by any means). I've been doing the sound for the 8-bit Theater: Animated flash cartoons by TLF and Meddros for 3 years. Uhm...*Shrugs*

Background (or hobbies and such): Hmm, I'm into competitive gaming, I like studying philosophy and will be going to uni to do so. I play the drums pretty well, I guess. Enough to be able to do music at uni, but I'm too stupid to do that =( I've performed stand up comedy a few times, so I must be not entirely boring. Oh, and I guess I've watched like five anime series now. Didn't realise >.>

What I like to talk about: I'm not going to lie - some people I talk to amazingly, and others I don't. I think a large factor is if the other person types 'u, 2' etc but that doesn't seem to apply to anyone here. If you're vaguely into something I like, then we'll probably break the ice far easier, I guess. But then, I kinda "know" some people here already, since you're all posting and I pay attention =P
