Spider-Man, Tangled Web seriese deserves more credit than it generally gets. Its not the best if you want kick-ass action, but if you want storyline, its good. Its the Citizen Kane-type (for those who have read Kavilere and Clay)

Hitman, it rocks (thanks Dante).
Sin City is also a good choice if you like violence noire.

go get the jms Amazing Spiderman's. they are some great stuff. also look for jms's original series "Rising Stars" if only he would finish it.

I don't read comic books, but I do read web comics. I like Bob and George, Crash and Bass,and Plagues Misadventures.
