Actually, your time wouldn't be considered by professional dragon-climbers, as you were climbing a stationary dragon.

Sorry I've been gone for a few days. College stuffs. Anyways, I have stated my two theories for Dryad elimination, and awaiting success or failure from Arhra.

Theory 1: When the dryads becomes softer as a part of their attack, they should be more vulnerable.

Theory 2: While the Dryads are part rock and nigh indestructible, we have heard nothing of these trees they can merge with being in anyway indestructible. So theoretically burning the trees while the dryads are still in them could kill. Also, burning up the trees would at least remove one of their sneaky tricks.

Rhiya Ravenwing 08-06-2006 02:08 AM

the trees are made of stone. Stone is VERY DIFFICULT to burn.

Also: Thanks PF... Always glad to be of service >.> <.< >.>

Hmmm... If you REALLY torched them, though, you might be able to make them turn molten and melt. That'd be fun.

PyrosNine 08-06-2006 02:20 AM

Feh, it's Pyros. Anything can burn, Melt, incinerate, Immolate.

Pyros also has the professional Dragon Climbing champion's belt, and has Beaten Chuck Norris at Armwrestling. He then got round house kicked.

If Curling and Underwater dancing are olympic sports, I think climbing stationary dragons is perfectly normal.

Besides, how else would you climb a dragon? I shiver to think of climbing a moving dragon.

PS: Rhiya needs a warning label. "WARNING! Do not climb while in motion! Death or Serious Injury could result!"

This RP isn't the same without Pyrosian insanity. It feels... empty. It's just not NPF without crazy Pyros.

Arhra 08-06-2006 10:08 AM

Hmm, I was hoping to post today, but time has run out. Anyway, I have some GM things to get out of the way.

Pyros, two points (I can't resist presenting them like this I'm afraid. Forgive me):

Point 1: Whle there are easier to hurt when unpetrified, they also have extremely rapid healing and are faster.

Point 2: Rocks don't burn.

However, I should point out that the dryads are not nigh invulnerable while rock. It's just that rock is hard to damage. Also, when inside a tree, they don't take up the full area, they can just move around inside it. Theoretically you could hit one in a tree, but it would be difficult.

Also, I'm afraid your post comes across as a bit on the godmoddy side.

Doesn't really come across as descriptive of an Insane enemy. Just be more careful in the future or I'll have to hand out a warning.

Ah, sorry Flare. I remember thinking that I had missed something. However, I have no recollection of what your charm ability does or how it works.

Having gone and had a look at the profiles, I have discovered sometihng of a problem. Some people are using abilities that do not appear on their character profiles. Specifically Flare, Dragonsbane and Steel Shadow.

Flare, in your case I would assume this lack of a descriotion of the Charm ability is more an oversight on your part. I do seem to recall lamia having that kind of ability. I'd like the details for how it works though.

DB, your profile has absolutely no reference of some kind of regenerative ability.

Steel, while this could be a misunderstanding on my part, what is this barrier you used against one of the dryads? Also, I think your battles are a touch too easy so tone things back - you did say you killed two of the dryads in a single post, although admittedly there were other factors involved. I should add that I allowed the time shield on the understanding it was a relatively limited use ability.

Flarecobra 08-06-2006 12:01 PM

That's why I'm asking first instead of using it. And yes, it was an oversight.

And nevermind. I doubt I'll really use it anyway.

*looks over the thread since he last posted*

*looks over RP since he last posted*

*heads explodes*

*mouth reforms*

Can someone, not Pyros though, tell me what the deus has happened?
