Okay.

We left the sphinx back at the door; she's mauled Newb but he's okay now. XD

Now we're in an inner room full of petrified trees. The problem is that stone dryads live in said trees, and they're nasty critters. Ahrha posted their abilities and whatnot a few pages ago, but basically they're women made of stone who can curse you with petrification by touching or wounding you (they have sharp stone claws and quick reflexes, too). They can also heal themselves if they are allowed to escape into their trees.

So far most of us are at least partially petrified, and Rhiya and Mesden are completely petrified. Fenris is in deep shit.

Apparrently the curse wears off sometime after the dryads' death.

So c'mon back in and kick ass with us, Darth!

Twice, now.

First time, I nearly died 'cause of the damn voices in my head, the second time because I had to sacrifice my arm to kill a Dryad, and it was petrified. And I accidentally broke it in two. So now I'm laying on the battlefield protecting my stump and broken arm, hoping that there is a way to reattatch them.

I should add that I allowed the time shield on the understanding it was a relatively limited use ability.

That was my T. Telekenisis. And I only actualy killed one.
Yeah, things were a bit confusing during that post. See, first I partialy sheilded the arm the dryad was holding, also freezing it's hand on me. Since I can't move my temporal sheild due to size when it's going full force, I only sheilded my arm and used it to drag both myself and the dryad into the air. It may not have come across well in the post but we were both dangling in the air. Then when we both started falling I steered myself tokeep close to it, then I made a tiny barrier infront of it. Again, I didn't go into much detail with it. It was paper thin, and I was kinda lucky it didn't move or it would have missed.
After all that I was exhasted. All that power use in such quick succesion really drained me. Then there was the blood loss. Those together made me kind of delusional. so the second dryad was actualy... a small rock. (Ok, I was actualy going to finish off the one Muave had started, which I thought would have already been weakened by her magics and paying more attention to where she went rather than who was sneaking up behind it, but I didn't read Rhiya's post close enough the first time, and it turned out it was already dead. So yeah, delusional.)
And then I collapsed next to Rhiya and called out for healing. That thing actualy pretty much gutted me. the petrification helped me stay upright for a while, but when it faded away I was screwed. If not for skyshot healing me, I would have been in big trouble.

Hmm. I mostly used the first paragraph just as an lazy explanation as of why Pyros was so late to do anything.

I would normally, but I"M ON STRIKE! STRIKE I SAY! And By and large that PYrosian insanity is considered Godmoddy, which is forbidden in this here RP. So Nyah.

Mauve could probably do it via magic, as soon as we find a way to reverse the stone.

And as soon as the stone from the Dryad I took out after pulling it off Skyshot wears off, somebody could recharge me and I could do it.

Or I could get rid of one of the Dryads that are on a healing mage.

Okay, I was a little tired and unclear when I wrote my post.

I was attacking the Dryad that Garud and Mauve were fighting.

Yay!

I'm not cool like some people and have a ghost arm.

EDIT: Made a hole for somebody to post. My reasoning behind it is this:

The arm broke in half, along with all the arteries and veins (more importantly than the veins, the arteries) in the arm. Fenris's heart is fine. It will continue to pump out blood, but it is not a closed circuit like it used to be. So, the blood will flood (hehe, rhyming is fun!) out of the stump, because unlike an amputee, the flesh is not closed. Fenris'll die of blood loss if his arm isn't mended or otherwise clogged by the time the end turns to flesh.

Fenris has nearly died too many damn times in this encounter. As such, I'm adding another thing to his personality profile.

Fear of Petrification: Due to his less than... pleasant encounter with Dryads in the Earth Temple, Fenris is afraid of petrification. If he encounters an enemy that can petrify him, rational thought will escape him for a while until he comes to grips with his fear.
