I'm just drinking
 

I assume some people have heard of the project "I'm just drinking".
For those of you who havenät, it's a bartending guide to webcomics.
The idea is that webocmics will be listed and each one will have one or several drink recipies going with the theme of the webcomic.
8-bit already has four drinks.
I was thinking of making a drink called Megahedrons Delight/Suprise based off red mage.

The idea was to make the drink using dice rolls. So you'd have some ingridients, preferably six or twelve and then roll the dice to see what ingridients you put in.

I was wondering what people here thinks about the idea.

Anyone else think that Hadoken is the perfect name for a shot?

The hadoken should be a blue flaming drink. And I might be wrong, but I think blue curacao is the only blue liqueur. It tastes like bitter oranges.

In case someone didn't know, alcohol burns blue.

It's a nifty idea, but I'd really like a link to it. Preferably in the first post (so people don't miss it).

That way we know what's been said (so we don't repeat things they already have), can discuss the current ones as well as ideas that come up here, and check out the recipes for those of us who drink (I myself do not, but if I did I'd be interested).

Inspired by the April 6, 2001 strip of 8-bit Theatre, The Dramatic Flashback!.

Mix together 1 shot Bacardi 151, 2 shots Tomato Juice, 1/2 shot Tobasco Sauce. Light on fire, then drink it down. Pick up and hurl the first red thing you see.

Take 1 part Peppermint Schnapps (the 100 proof stuff) and 2 parts Vodka (preferably russian). Mix in container of desired volume and consume.

I have tried this drink, and it does go smoother than either schnapps or vodka.

Warning: sideffects may include powerful smell of peppermint and a sharp pain in the back of the head. Make sure not to drink around black mages unless you are immune to stabbing.

Recipe modified from the drink known as Jersey Lightning.

Shake 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1 1/2 oz. Apple Brandy, and the juice squeezed from a Lime together with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, worship the Dark Lord Chaos, and serve.

* Costs 35 MP to make.
* Causes 60-240 LIT damage to all enemies.
* Strong against water monsters.

Drink:Pixellated Cocaine 8-Bit

Recipe modified from the drink known as the Liquid Cocaine 8-Ball.

Mix together 1 shot Southern Comfort, 1 shot Amaretto, 1 shot Rum, and 1 dash Grenadine. Fill with Sprite to taste. You must steal someone else's Sprite to make this properly. Mix, make a witty toast, and drink. Must be drank with a party of four people, total.

Fighterdoken sounds gross. It's a flaming bloody mary, with rum.

I've heard of it. Half of the 8BT drinks are just name-plays of other drinks, and the other half are originals, one of which sucks. Your idea is a good one, though. I like the idea of a drink where the ingredients (and thus the outcome) are at the hands of such a nerdy proclaimer of fate.

Naw, like Tequila, but instead of tobasco, some serious bullshit. Like, that sauce that uses the same stuff as pepper spray.

No wait here you go: Insanity hot sauce, and Bacardi 151. There's your Goddamn Hadoken right there.

Shit, there's an even chance it'll catch on fire, right there at the bar.

Also, the White Mage clearly must be some variant of the White Russian.

I like that there is this tangible sign of interst in webcomics, but I've never really understood the fixation with drink names.... As if calling a paticular mixture 'sex on the beach' actually implies somthing about the drink itself?

Presumably, it's supposed to taste like body fluids and sand.

Why you'd want that in a drink, I dunno.

On topic; I'd love to see some gaming drinks. A Shoryuken has to consist of tequila. I wouldn't be too disapointed to see a "Sol Badguy," which would obviously be on fire. I wouldn't say no to a couple of drinks called Princess Zelda and Super Mario, too.

Also - there simply must be a drink called Wang. Just for PA.
