Boston Video Game Party Anyone?

Well it appears that politicians don't know when to quit when it comes to ruining the video game industry. Though it is just a rumor, it would make sense Hillary Clinton is advocating a game tax. Read and be irritated.

Because trashing videogames worked so well for Joe Lieberman's presidential aspirations?

Jesus, Hil. This is the shit that mints little Republicans-to-be.

I doubt this is going to get very far. Just a guess, really, but it's not the first time it's been proposed, however Hillary also has a very loyal fanbase.

So, yeah. I'm voting "No."

Comparing video games to smoking is just goddamn funny. I mean, what, do video games have their own cancer now?

Yeah they are called MMORPG's :p

But seriously, what the hell is wrong with your politicians. Why are they wasting some much time and energy on games. No other country does. All they are doing is alienating themselves from a potential voter with their Anti Game.

I don't even know what our politicians' deals are. The only thing I can think of is the fact that politicians in this country get power based almost solely on charisma and not on intelligence, and no I don't mean the D&D stats either :P.

Anyone can tell she is just using video games to get some votes.

Even though I would never vote for her in a million years, just for that.

Anyone else notice she hasn’t said much on her position on bigger issues?

It just seems like she is focusing on little shit when there is much bigger shit to worry about.

Videogames themselves are a cancer on the prostate of America! :stressed:

If you got this from the first link, then let me just say that I don't think there IS any comparison. What I mean is that the article isn't comparing the two. It is just saying that cigarettes have a tax put on them and Clinton wants to put a tax on video games.

I don't see this going through either seeing as how it's been proposed numerous times. Also, I don't see this stopping people from buying the games anyway. It's not like the cost of games will go up by $10 or anything.

Well there is a rehab clinic open, so that comparison is not that far afield. :shifty:
