I just saw both trailer a few days ago... Will Ferrel is High now, the guy is funny, the movie looks funny, i WANT to see this one...

Snakes on a Plane looks so pointless that it must be amazing. I'll see it.

I just found out the FINALLY are making a movie based on American McGee's Alice. Here's hoping since it has Sarah Michelle Gellar as Alice it will be a good movie.

Also they are making 2 more Resident Evil Movies with the third have the subtitle Extinction. It continues the story of Alice, and it seems to skip the RE4 plot entirely going for a more end of the world motif. Also Ali Larter plays Claire.

I am also leerily looking forward to the Castlevania movie due out in 2007. Also Transformers in 2007 (Duh) along with the new TMNT movie also due in 2007 (Duh again). Right now I'm looking forward to 2007 in terms of movies.

In no particular order the movies I am looking forward to in 2007 in addition to the above listed are:

Spider-Man 3
Pirates 3
Sin City 2
The Simpsons Movie
28 Weeks Later (Sequel to 28 Days Later)

And in 2008:

James Bond
Voltron (Hell yes.)
Sin City 3: Hell and Back
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

And that about covers it.

Don't know about years, as such, but if we're talking long range, here's what I'm looking forward to:

Beowulf and Grendal, Atlas Shrugged, Transformers, TMNT, All the King's Men, Ring of the Nibelung, probably more that I don't know of offhand.

I want to know what was up with that Metroid movie we heard about so long ago that would be produced by John Woo.

If by "upcoming" you include "eventually, God willing", I'd like to mention the Red Dwarf movie. Everything's apparently in place for it, so why the fuck hasn't it happened yet?

If you're only talking films we know are on their way into theaters, I have to confess that the very notion of Snakes on a Plane has rather intrigued me...

There's been talk about a Zelda movie for an unusually long time, something called the Hyrule Chronicle or something. I don't remember. I'm not even sure if it's in production, but if it is, they must be consuming quite a long time in making it. I know it's a crew not official from Nintendo.

Snakes on a Plane? Eh, I know nothing of that movie! Except that it has exactly what the title suggests! They couldn't just resolve it by forcing the snakes to fall off the plane while they're -- actually, that would possibly only work if they were over the oceans...but still, seems like a confined movie.

Ever since they canned the Devil May Cry movie such as shown here, I haven't kept up too much on other movies besides The Transformers, Spider Man 3, and the new TMNT.

A castlevania Movie woudl probably be like Constantine or Van Helsin... not quite sure if that is a good thing...

a Zelda Movie would be fine if SquareEnix were producing 3d movies for other companies... because... live Action? ... no thanks!

Also... let me spill my hopes in the thread and say

GIVE ME A MACROSS/ROBOTECH MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck, I'd be perfectly happy if they took out the Crossbow Assault Rifle and gave Helsing a whip instead, and just fucking called Hugh Jackman "Belmont" for the rest of the movie.

And while they're at it, they could make the movie good, too.
