I want to change my (Real) name.
Any suggestions? I'm looking for first, middle, and last names.
|
I'm kinda tempted to move this to Off Topic.
But I imagine "Cockdongler Buttfuckington, Esq." is not the sort of suggestion you're looking for. I suppose I have always been partial to "Caleb". |
I think you should keep the name you have now. You know, honor your mother and father atleast somewhat by keeping the name they gave you.;)
Otherwise, the name change is all up to you. |
The best is always simplest...
remove all your middle names and simply add 'The' Eg. Andy The Evans Joe The Bloggs Jonny The Depp Arnuuld the Schwizenheimer What you think? A friend of mine is going to do that, Gethin The Jones. But I have weird friends... a friend of Gethin has changed his name to Aquaman... |
Depending on your tastes, you might find some ideas of what to do or what not do to on this website I'm rather fond of and I'm taught not to end sentences with prepositions.

Get all the girls to swoon with Edwardo Hunkington.
On a more helpful note, pick something you like, even if it sounds a little weird to you at first. Like, stay away from names like that stuff posted earlier... but I'm sure it'd take anyone time to get used to any name, no matter how normal. And as for actual name suggestions, I'd almost certainly go with an iconic name from some sort of cultural reference that you love. At the very least, if I had to change my name, I'd not waver on changing my middle name to 'Frood' as per Hitch Hiker Guide to the Galaxy references. I dunno, just a method of finding a name I guess? It could even be sensible, if you wanted it to be. |

Never introduce using your middle name, and just wait to see what people say. But SERIOUSLY. Treat it like a tattoo, or a wife. Make sure you like it. But don't be corny with something like "Max Powers." |
No, seriously, I just love how tattoo comes before wife.
|
A wife is much easier to get rid of or replace. Now a tatoo. . .that's part of you.
And depending on how often you want to get a judge's signature to make it all kosher a name change probably is too. |
