He flashed her a grin.

From above, the crew could hear someone yelling. Aras was free falling from the top of the ship, aiming over the side of the ship.

Syphrin was about to respond to Joe when she heard a yelling from above, "What the hell...?" she looked up to see Aras freefalling. You could say she was a little more than surprised.

Yosuke looked around at the crew <hmm I wonder if this situation could become any more interesting. I'm quite sure that woman addressing the captain is lying about her character. She seems to be hiding something. Lets just see how thins play out over the coming weeks>. He turned to the Captain "so what happens now, Captain?"

Joe smacked his head and sighed.

"Idiot."

Kia came up next to Syphrin and leaned on the railing next to her. She talked to her quietly. "Your act may work on some of the crew here, but not on me. I'm a woman too remember? I can tell that you come from money. Lemme guess...ran away from parents because of..." she looked her up and down, "ah! Arranged marriage! You have that defiant, I'm not marrying any snobby man look. No one's going to hurt you here," she glanced up at the plummeting Aras, "although I'm not too sure about that one. As long as you can prove that you can pull your weight, you'll be fine. Oh," Kia began to walk away, "we'll probably be bunking together so if you snore, you're in for a pillow being stuffed in your mouth." Jade gave a half wave over her back and walked away towards Yosuke. "So, how long has it been since you were back home? Too long for me. Blasted clients keep me away most of the year."

Yosuke thought for a moment "well its been about four weeks now. Being a Samurai I'm not normally allowed to leave the Barracks but my family requested that I be allowed to see more of the world. I don't understand why personally. I was perfectly happy where I was but" he laughs a bit "orders are orders!"

Corgan had found the kitchen, and a promising keg of beer that he was sampling. He had cleaned out a mug he found, and sipped a second mug of the tasty beer down. <Boy, and I thought my last crew was full of characters. This will be an interesting voyage...> Corgan thought to himself, reflecting on the strange new crew he would be traveling with.

Krim, who had thus far been simply taking in all the crew completely unnoticed, decided that he should probably introduce himself to the captain.

He wandered over and stuck out his hand. " 'Lo Captain. My name's Krim. 's nice to meet ya."

Aras came flying down, right next to where Syphrin was leaning against the rail. If anyone looked over the edge to see what happened to the idiot who jumped, they would see his survived.

Half way down the ship, Aras threw his shuriken at the ship's hull. The shuriken dug in deep, and the chain prevented Aras from hitting the water. Using the chain as a swing, Aras got ready to hit the hull. When he did, he hit it feet first, then fully went against it. Using the recoil, Aras pushed back, sending himself up. The shuriken was still stuck, and Aras arced upwards. One he was sailing towards the ship again, Aras gave a sharp tug on the chain, loosening the shuriken, making it fall out. Aras landed on the deck, caught his shuriken, then turned to the nearest person. "Haven't done that in such a long time. Want to try?"
