Gauging public reaction
 

I am hesitant to do this, but I'm afriad that if I don't, I really will give up on web-comicing completly...

Basically, I just want to get a reaction from you guys about the comic below. I'll answer questions about it to the best of my ability (creative process, story etc), but Im really interested in what YOU think about it. The idea is basically a fresh start of Highschool Starship with an exciting intro, and brand new everything. New graphics, charecters, and story.

The problem is, though, that we haven't really talked about it in weeks, maybe months, and I'm not sure if we should keep trying or what. I don't have the energy to do art AND writing, but neither of us seem to be able to get anything ...hmmm... SOLID accomplished when we confer on this project.

Anyway, have at it. It may be the only time you'll see it online in anycase.

EDIT: Ok, I'm not sure why photobucket resized the image - It should be about twice that big. Gah. Well, I'll see if I can fiddle with it later on, but it really is getting late, so I'ma hit the sack and try to fix it tommorrow.

I like it. Maybe if you didn't have the big white spaces, it would look better; other than that, It's awesome. The joke is funny, the look is clean... the only thing that I don't get is the name right now. I'm agonna go dig into your older comics now, to see how big of a difference it is.

Hella prettier than the ff6 sprites had been.

The actual spaceship could use some work though.

Also, I'm not sure how he's not getting sucked out into the cold void of space right there.

Ontopic, I agree with getting rid of the white lines, that will make it a lot cleaner looking. Other than that, the humour is good and the visuals are both easy on the eyes and distinct.

Anyhow, yeah, it is a funny comic, what with the comedic effect (Screw you, Fifth!) and, aside from the obvious white lines and sizing, it's looks good.

Not some crappy 8-bit Knock Off, I'll say.
