Hello... I've returned from a long sleep. Miss me? Didn't think so... That's okay. I thought I'd just open up a discussion of plot-related 8-Bitness and and quasi-temporal necromantic forces. What am I talking about? Why none other than that fist-fighting nudnik, Black Belt. Heh heh heh...

Yeah. He's dead. Twice. I always loved that. Lousy temporal stupity... White Mage was right to think that that statue in Garland's backyard might- Whoops! Erosion! I love that. The splorching...I especially love. But let's get on topic, hmmm? Some time ago, there was a guest-comic in which Black Belt returns as a zombie...even though he was utterly destroyed. Black Mage's debunking was especially funny in that bit. But now, we have a real live dead body to work with here.

Are you seeing where I'm going with this? Oh yes. I want it. I want to see that happen. It would just drive WHite Mage over the edge to see a putrid-green ZOMBIE BELT shambling around, going "Lost... Lost..." all over the place. After all, if there is anything that has disturbed her more than BLack Mage, it's BB taking the big sleep...twice.

Heh. I see someone is taking this out of proportion, nay a little too seriously. Also, let us not forget, I haven't been watching the forums and I not going to go through a gigantic backlog to find these things out for idle banter. For anyone taking this seriously, don't. I think of BB only as a means of seeing something go horribly Fighter-like wrong. That's all.

There was another guest comic I think where BM tried to make him live again and ended up with a hellspat creature. Y'know, like in FMA.

Aw hell... I never got to see that, but I DID see a fan-comic where BM had resurrected BB as a way of apologizing to WM, but he couldn't get it out right and she got frustrated and left, so he Hadoken'd him. That was great.

Oh sorry. I typed that wrong. I meant to say that he couldn't explain to White Mage properly that he'd done a nice thing for her and she left, to which BB then thanked BM for resurrecting him and gets blasted into oblivion.

BM can't come back as a zombie. One of his two forms was completely chopped up, and you need a body to make a zombie. The other form had its brain destroyed, meaning that it can't be a zombie. Quid Quo Pro.

Eh heh... I would believe that, having taken Necromancy 101 in college, except...Black Belt functioned without a brain in life. Who's to say what works how in death? Saying BB's brain was destroyed is like saying Fighter was stabbed multiple times in the head, the blades having been twisted around until they broke off. Besides, having part of his head missing would be more fun! You could have more blood-floods! :D
