Elementals II
(OOC) Continue on...
|
ooc: can I get a recap I'm completely lost.
|
(OOC: A strange elemental that can use any element has blown up Inyri's home. She's at the bar. Everyone that's in the rp is going back to meet at the bar to discuss what must be done about the elemental. Most have lost people to the creature, some want to take him down because he stands a thread, and my guy wants to kill him because he tried to blow him up in his own territory. That's pretty much it.)

ooc: thank you.

Kirin would have slept well under the single sheet, with the window open to the cold wind, but he had to know what had happened last night. It kept him up, wondering and speculating. It wasn't like an explosion was a big suprise around here, but eh scorch marks on the dead policemen could only have been left by a lightning elemental, and the bullet holes in them, how ws that possible? There were bad elementals about, that's how.
He got up, put on his jeans, t-shirt, and shoes, and grabbed his staff on the way out of the door. He had consisdered who it could have been--nobody he knew of. The earthmovers in the area were benign and friendly, no wind formers about, no floodbringers, only a rumor of a firestarter, he was the only frostbearer in the area, and to be honest, the neighborhood obscurers were downright generous. He continued to the bar he rarely entered, and let a gust of chill wind blow in as he pushed the door open. He walked up as the bartender gave a beer to a man in black. Black shoes, black pants, black jacket, black glasses, black sword, big black gun. He sat on a stool and asked the bartender, got anything cold, preferrably nonintoxicating? Sure thing said Monty as he took a bottle out of the fridge behind him I think I know you, you came around about a month or two ago with Sirhachi, you're his student, yep, that's you. What's your name? he asked I'm Kirin, nice to meet you... call me Monty, and here's some tea, iced tea if you were wondering the emphasis caught his attention, but master Norakama had spoken much and well of this guy, and he had to trust him. He turned his attention to the man in black. Beer, breakfast of champions, eh? |
As Isaac has guessed, the army had been called in to place the area under Martial Law. With the kids safely in the orphanage's secret basement, Isaac had taken a stroll to a bar where he could meet one of his friends in the city's underground. Enduring the slurs he heard from soldiers, he finally arrived at Hans' Bar, a rundown building teeming with shady characters.
"Not as tidy as Monty's, but it'll do." Isaac muttered as he entered the bar, sitting at his usual table. "I'm in the mood for some scotch, Hans." He said, signaling the bartender. As he waited for his drink, he saw a tall man in a brown vest sit down at his table. "Simon." Isaac said, nodding to his friend. "How goes the... business?" "Pretty well." Simon said. "What do want, Isaac, and how much money do you have?" "Straight to the point, eh?" Isaac chuckled, getting out his wallet. "Very well. About that Multi-Elemental that's been on the news lately..." |
James ambled in and sat down. It was clear he hadn't had any sleep and was quite shook up about his friend's sudden demise. "ok so anyone got any idead on how to stomp this asshole?"
|
I was wondering just what went on last night, can anyone fill me in?. I mean, I checked out the scene, and there's nothing natural that could have done that.
|
Bob sat in the corner and listened.
|
"Let me clear up a few things." Isaac said to Kirin as he entered the bar. "Last night, part of the city was attacked by a Multi Elemental who killed several policemen who chased after him. He then escaped as fast as he came, leaving no evidence of his identity. Until now, that is. I learned a few things from a friend who shall remain nameless about the Multi Elemental. Do you want me to tell you?"
