New nintendo system
Some of you may have seen this at Penny Arcade.
Why is Nintendo already making a new GBA? I don't care what they say; new portable system = making my brand new GBA SP a piece of junk. Nintendo has had tons of quality games, but I don't like having to buy a new system every six months to play them. I, for one, don't care anymore. I have three gameboys that are all but unuseable and I'll be damned if I'm going to give Nintendo another hundred bucks for the pleasure of a slightly more advanced version of what I already have. I refuse to buy this new system. |
Well, according to the article, the Nintendo DS will have two screens, so it's a new idea for games...
|
Nope. Don't care.

Again? Jeez, at what speed do they shell out their systems lately, for heaven's sake? I fully understand you, Mr. Wind-Up Bird, since I myself have officially stopped caring about new Nintendo products around the point where the Gameboy (whichever it was then) became compatible to roughly 90% of all imaginable electronic appliances... Gamecube, toaster, power drill...

... thought so. |
I liked the Virtual Boy... Most people just didn't like having to get at a good sitting position or lying position to play it... I'm guessing this is just a hand held, and will be easier to play.
|
I didn't mind the Virtual Boy so much. I did not, however, like paying for a system that had about six games. Everything that Nintendo releases is either a waste of money (virtual boy, e-reader) or makes something you just bought obsolete.
|
Yeah, I haven't bought anything past GameBoy Color. That was when I picked up on the pattern and decided there was no way I was buying am Advance(especially cause it was a thinner Game Gear) or SP, and I'm certainly not getting DS or DS Advance, or DS Advance SP, or QX or whatever else they make. Burn them all, BURN NINTENDO! :bmage:

I never had a gameboy. So the day after my cousin got his GBA SP, I bought his regular GBA for $20. Made my day :D
|
How the hell are they gunna make games utilizing two screens is my question...

Don't get me wrong, though. It's not that I like it when they do this. I myself bought a GBA, then 8 months later, they released GBA SP. I wasn't very happy. I didn't buy an SP. Why? Because it's exactly the same as GBA. But GB DS will be different. I will buy it. Quote:
