Just read Rai and shiney's new book, and I have to say, I had no problems at all with it. There's a really kickass plot to speak of, and most of the "characters" (I use the term in quotation marks because frankly, they're so awesome a new word needs to be invented for them--altho' they're not at all like actual members here 'cos that would suck too much) are hella horrible evil nasty bad guy villains who are fanatically evil and horrifyingly perverse (and you can tell they're disgusted by all that sexual deviance, because they devote a whole lot of space in the book to explaining all the filthy details so we know how bad it is; that way if you ever see the "Guildford Dirty Dangle-Lick" you can jump right in and stop it) against which their totally bitchin' kickass characters invariably triumph. It's obvious that the Rai and shiney characters're really unquestionably the "good guys", and I found them much better than the bad guys, who sucked (in the plot; they way they were written was, of course, completely awesome because the book is so awesome). In brief: Even if you get this book as a gift, go out and buy a bunch of copies anyway 'cos it's just that fuckin' amazing.
