Heavy Metal: R & R
 

For the first time they were all at the meeting on time. John entered carrying a portfolio case. He sat at the head of the tabel and lit a cigarillo. "I got some good news, and bad news." He said. He took a drag.

"The good news is The New Holland government decided to triple our pay."

"The bad news is we get a three days of R & R in Amsterdam Nova." He said sadly. It took a minute to register.

"Don't worry about repairs I've arranged for a garage on New Holland to do the work. Of course I'm taking it out of your paychecks as per your contracts. You will get paid at the end of the meeting. Questions, comments concerns?"

"Why is some R & R bad? But to the point, are the repairs coming out of the checks who need the repairs? I didn't get hit, due to a minor malfuntion, so I want a full check." Jake asked.

Samuel raised his hand.

"How long do you think it will take for our mechs to get repaired. I only had a little overheating damage done. I want to go out and get some more parts."

"... This wouldn't happen to be for forced variety of R & R would it? You know, the one that involves debriefings in cramped rooms with people telling me things that i didn't see?"

"It was a joke, you stiffs need the R & R badly. I recomend the Koffeeshops, just don't do anything stupid cause I'm not bailing you out. Repairs will be done before we leave and you can do some shopping."

(ooc: could you guys give me a damage report so I don't have to go back and read all of the last thread? Just PM it to me. Thanks.)

Samuel raised an eyebrow.

"A coffeeshop? Meh. I wonder if they have any shooting galleries around here?"

ooc: nm I tink I have it figured.

John handed out the pay checks "dismissed."

Will smiled as he got his paycheck and jumped up with a shoat. "Come Fero, we go to see the local Mech merchant for many shinies to add to my UCV!"

ooc: one word IHMN, Ammo. Rather than figure a per shot cost I made a $200 reload cost to refill your weapons.
