Samuel smiled at Wayward.

"Of course. Not only that, but I get paid to do so. 10,000 credits, and complete scavange rights for killing off a terrorist group. All I need is two other people, and we can head out. Why don't you come along. We might find some good stuff there, and 10,000 creds isn't something to pass up easily."

Maybe this guy does have some sense after all.

"Good point. No need to let ten grand go to waste like that. Do they pay the support staff as well? Because if they do, we can bring Joanna and the others along for some easy money."

Samuel shrugged.

"They said only two other people, but maybe they only mean mech pilots. I'm sure we can take along one of the repair people. But we take along only ONE tech person. If we bring more, they might lower our pay. Now, we just need one more pilot, and we can head out."

(OOC) Is that an offer, since my character can count for both?

(OOC: Find a way to get to Samuel and Wayward before anyone else, and the job is yours.)

Erika climbed out of the simulator. There was really only so much target practice she could take at once, so she decided to take a walk. while walking about, she overheard Samuel talking about a possable mission, and how he was trying to figure out some personell ideas. "Excuse me," She said. "If you'd like, I could go with you. I am pretty good at fixing things, and you know that I am pretty decient as a pilot."

"I suppose. You certainly seem hardworking and competent enough. If Samuel's okay with it, so am I."

Samuel raised an eyebrow.

"Well, it'll be nice to have a person that's both a pilot and a mechanic. We won't have to lose money in that. Get your stuff together. I'm going to file an absence report with Pillsbury. We'll be gone for around three weeks, so get what you need."

With that, Samuel left.

It didn't take her that long, mostly because she didn't have much in the way of stuff. shouldering her pack, she waited for Samuel. She didn't feel this excited about something since she first join in. <Now's your chance to show that you can be someone.> she thought to herself.

Samuel arrived with a pack slung across his shoulder, and was walking while reading a newspaper. He didn't read many books, and a paper was as far as he normally went.

"Well, we just gotta wait for Wayward. I already got a shuttle to carry us and our mechs arranged. Pillsbury will tell the rest of the group that we'll be gone for a while. And we have to pay Pillsbury 1000 credits each, since we're in the Warhawk group. Which means, any parts you see out there, take them. We can sell them, and make up the lost creds, and get even more."
