BUT!

A spell component pouch isn't gonna last more than, say, 20 uses. Seeing as how the ones in that strip were mouldy, (which doesn't make much sense since most components - string, gems, feathers, ashes, silver, gold, exp. points - don't go mouldy or are otherwise preserved to avoid this situation) he should at least have some fresher ones by now. Components or not, his stink is his own. No amount of blaming will help his self esteem. XD
