Who's looking forward to the tentative "Star Trek Academy" series?

I'd much rather see something with the Temporal Cold War and the Timeships, but any Trek is good Trek!

The Academy is supposed to explore the Temporal Cold War a great deal, but it would be interesting to see how with them not leaving San Fancisco...

I mean, what now, we're going to have the Star Fleet Acaemy prom? Students getting blasted on Romulan ale and Blood wine? Students sleeping with each other in the transporter room? Maybe it'll be more like 'Rushmore', only in the future?

No seriously though, I love Star Trek. I just dont want it to be stupid anymore.

No, the Academy is focused around Kirk, the brilliant ass-kicking troublemaker, and Spock, the emotionally-troubled half-Vulcan, how they meet, and how Starfleet evolves around them. It's not going to be Dawsons Creek...

Okay, with Captain Kirk, he's gonna bang every lady in the Academy. Think about it. He's doin' it once per episode when he's forty or fifty. When he's late teen-early twenties...

And lo a new generation of starfleet academy is borne of Kirk's seed.

An U(umlaut)ber generation! Who, in turn, spawn a new, LARGER generation, and...oh my God! They'll take over the Earth!

But no, really, Academy is fun. And if I was less poor, I'd be buyin' the commorative scripts of the first episode.
