Zorha wasn't an important healer of any sort, so he had no reinforcements he could call on. Instead, he went to the armoury and got the best bow he could find, and sharp arrows.
|
OOC: What other kind of arrows are there? Blunt ones? Rubber ones? (Buh dum pssssh)
IC: The Khalahad people fled as Cirith shot over their cities on his dragon. It eventually beelined at the throne room, then froze right before hitting the window. |
OOC: Crap. Not a good way to make a first impression.
|
"It's a dragon! KILL IT!"
Alka already had Grim Cleaver out and was beelining for its head. |
(OOC: Too bad the Dragon is in an entirely different city, Dante.)
|
Drow doctors ran over and grabbed Alka. He was halucinating.
Kal walked along the walls of the city, seeing how the defences stocked up. Pretty good in all actuality. Not good enough to stand up against what was coming. Kal had gotten into his armour, and had his sword belt on. The staff was in a clasp on his back that kept it more or less out of the way. He walked down the walls and saw Thomas and Draich doing pretty much the same thing, "You're a commander. How good are these guys?" |
(OOC: Not to mention on our side. SS, am I supposed to play as the Kalahadian king or something reading the letter, or what?)
In addition to his normal chain, Argriv took the percaution of putting on a breast plate, vambraces, leg braces and a healm. Though he fealt weighed down, it was highly unlikely that the klinking of his extra armor would attract any attention in the midst of battle. He made sure each blade was well poisoned, and that he had a large suply of poisoned bolts. |
OOC: You can, but there's going to be a bit of a sidetrack for them.....mweha....mwahahahaha......MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAAAAA!!!!!
|
OOC: Evil...
IDC (In different character): The High Lord of Kaladan was already mounted upon his stallion and ready to charge the dragon rider with the 20 of his best knights in lance formation. "Why do you come here, Drow! What evil mission brings you here!" "Lower your weapons," said the drow, dismounting. "I bring no harm here. I have been sent to issue a call for aid from the House of Gahal." "Gahal? But they were all killed... except for that Black Sheep... Argriv, his name was." "The very same. He has sent you this." The drow handed over a parchment with the seal. The king broke it and spent several seconds reading it. "Is this a trick? Are the forces of the north invading?" "From what I have heard, this is true." "It still might be a trap, but I cannot see any that both Argriv and your people would profit from... I will rally troops, but be warned that if this is in fact some evil scheme, the wrath of Kalahad will descend upon your stronghold. If the Dark Elven city is not under siege, we will put it that way!" "I understand, and assure you, it is no trick. Do hurry. Any aid is needed. I must depart to help fight myself." with that said, he mounted the dragon and flew off into the distance. Once was gone, the king turned to his knights. "Ride into the countryside. Rally any knight willing to follow the cause of crusade to aid the dark elves. Those who will not, have them defend the cities in case they do betray us. Rally at Lahan Durhey." The knights as one brought their right fist to their chests, and rode off in various dirrections to obey their lords command. <I can only hope that this is enough to immerge victorious...> |
"It's a dragon! Kill it!"
A hand smacked his face and Alka came to. he looekd at himself, looked at the almost empty skin of drow wines, then threw his head back and groaned. "Goddamit... your drow wines have to much mushrooms in them... baaaad trip, baby..." He caught himself again. "See?" |
