What type of font does the text in 8BT use?

I was thinking about trying me hand at a guest comic, but I don't want it to look like a n00b utterly corroded it. Please speak in terms of Photoshop 6.0, if possible.

He downloaded it from Blambot.com.

He uses ACME Explosion, which apparently is currently unavailable. ACME Secret Agent is almost identical and more available to you. The narration text is Anime Ace.

Thanks.

A suggestion from a fellow semi-spriter?

Use Times New Roman, Bold. It's good at varying sizes, clear and readable, and does well in Italics too. Also, it's so common that any art program, ANY AT ALL, would have it.

He specifically said what font does 8BT use.

If you antialias, it will make the font look less crappy. Make sure you select that when putting in your text. You can use a glow filter or also outline to make the "black backgroun" text Brian uses.

It was just an alternate suggestion. Geez...

Massacre, I'm not trying to get on your case too bad, but temper your constructive criticism with a dose of tact. he said he wants the 8bit font, as to not make it look like a noob comic. Additionally, and regrettably, 95% of comics made with Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Courier or Times New Roman look like noob comics. So to speak.

Seriously man, pay attention to your surroundings is all I am saying. Don't get so wrapped up in number one.

I have found this website explaining it, which is trés cool:

Glow filter? I would NEVER show my work at this stage, shiney, but do you have an example? Not even Google in all of its glory is showing me this one. I`d love to see the effect, please.

Furthermore, I`ve been reading that you can get really nice comics out of flash, too, because of the layers.
I don`t have Photoshop, but I do have Flash. I`m more used to working in MSPaint. I figured if I can`t do at least some of the basics in Paint, I can`t do it at all. (grins)
edit: I have found it right here at NP! Sorry for the asking. :D

But I like Times New Roman... :(
