After the mech smashed the Earth elemental to pieces, Raziel shouted, "Destroy the earth elemental after the fire one!" He noticed the mage fireing arrow after arrow into the fire elemental, and the small flying robot casting spells, and while they didn't seem to hurt it, it was recoiling from the blows. The fire elemental back up right behind the earth one which had just reformed, and Raziel activated his lightning speed again and charged it. He ran straight at it, and with one mighty slash, cut neatly thorugh each leg. He looped back around, avoiding a burst of flame from the fire elemental, and rammed the earth elemental in the front. It didn't have time to regenerate the break in it's legs, and Razile ramming full into it at high speed sent it tipping back, slowly at first, then picking up speed, right on top of the fire elemental and burying it. "That hopefully takes care of the fire elemental... but I need to rest, using all of that power at once exhausted me." Razile muttered.

Kanko heard one of the figures with big swords yell at him. He looked up and screamed out of sheer panic. It was such a blood curdling cry that both of the marked elementals looked at him dispassionately, momentarily distracted. Kanko wet himself.

OOC: meant to edit and deleted by accident. Meh.

As the earth elemental recovered, Zankuro knew that this was the time. He ran under the flailing earth fists, under the earth elemental, sword already behind him in that curious position he sometimes used. Then he channeled all his ki into Nosada, and the air rippled.

"TENMA GAITE - SHIN MAJINKEN!"

Again, the massive sonic boom came, almost kocking everyone off their feet, but it worked. The shockwave had blasted the earth elemental abotu fifty meters into the air. Still winded from the attack, Zankuro could, only hope Kurama picked up on it quickly enough before it fell down again and crushed him to death.

'Now Kurama! While it's still airborne!"

OOC: My God you people post way too fast. I haven't even been in the fight yet.

BIC: Jade had been dodging fireballs from the Fire Elemental when the little machine started casting spells. Everyone seemed to be ignoring it and fcusing on the Earth Elemental. <I don't have enough power to destroy this thing, but I can slow it down so it won't bother us for a while.> Focusing her magic into the blue crystal on her sword she said "Ice Slash" and then made two vertical arcs in the air. They flew at the Fire Elemental and when they hit, it was frozen solid. It wasn't going to hold, but this way they could all destroy the Earth elemental and then focus on the fire one. "This won't hold for long," she said as the ice already started to melt, "so whatever you're doing, do it soon."

OOC: Umm, I think both elementals have already been taken care of...

(OOC: Alright, I had to move it.)

"I'm on it!" Kurama leapt up into the air, and pointed his sword out. It began to glow, and the second symbol turned red.

"Here I go! RYUUUU-TAMAKANAAAAAAA!" Kurama began to spin in the air, and a large flurry of energy blades began to fly out towards the Earth Elemental. Every blade sliced clean through, and kept on going until they dissapparated. The Earth Elemental's face was frightened, because it couldn't regenerate itself. Soon, the storm of energy blades disappeared, and when Kurama gently touched down on the ground, only piles of dust remained of the Earth Elemental. Kurama ceremoniously sheathed his sword.

"I suggest a strategic retreat before the Fire thing melts, and the Earth one reforms."

OOC: Okay, I am confused, I thought I buried and put out the fire elemental, but for lack of anything better to say...

"I agree. I don't think we can permenantly banish them yet, so it would be best to leave for now." Raziel added.

Zankuro dusted himself off and spat the dust out of his mouth.

"Melts? What are you talking about?"

Kanko looked at the man sheathing the sword. Swords weren't really that important to him, and he seldom remembered what they looked like. However, he had run away from this one before, only that had been a thousand years ago.
"That sword..." he said quietly.

Kurama watched as the dust slowly moved.

"I suggest something that would work well. RUN!" Kurama turned and began to run through the forest to try and find where Kane had decided to wait for Kurama.

Raziel sheathed his swords, and followed Kurama. That was an impressive trick with his sword, and if he could pull that off and still run, it was a good idea to follow.

For a giant machine, Mech ran rather fast. As he ran, the left arm scooped up Relia, and put her in the passanger seat. Robo was on his little seat next to Relia.

"Geh. Running."

But Zankuro knew that without the Zanmato, he couldn't do anything definite about them. He ran off, chasing Kurama.

"Do you have any bloody idea on where you're going?"

OOC: Dog... >_<

Kanko did not need any other incentive. He sprang into full stride, easily catching up to and passing Kurama

Jade took off as fast as she could following the rest of the group. "I hope someone knows where we're going!"

OOC: it's not about where we're running to, its about what we're running from. >_o

OOC: I like the way he thinks...

ooc-You guys post son...damn...fast. Also, I realize now I should have picked magic as a skill...oh well.

Roe and Sham watched the battle in amazed. Skills and demons they had never seen, all happened here, just like the old man had predicted. The girl closed his eyes for a moment, then came whispered to Sham. "We're going after them."

The boy looked at her like she was crazy. "Did you see what they just did? What possibly could you want for them."

"They're strong...they have magic...we must meet them." Her voice had a tone that told him this decision was unquestionable.

He sighed. "Well, we'd better get running."

She blinked. "Running? Why in the world would we want to run now?"

Sham pointed in the direction of Kurama's flight. "They have just taken off."

"Idiot, why didn't you tell me!" Roe screamed as she ran off. Sighing once more Sham chased her.

Reala had been running along when she had been scooped up by the giant machine and placed in the passangers seat. She would have normally objected, but she knew now was not the time to be arguing with somebody. She glanced backwords at where they had just left, "How soon do you think it will be until these elementals are after us again?"

(OOC: And you know, it had to have been Fire and Earth elementals, the two that my fire is pretty useless against. ^_^;; Are we going to be seeing any other elementals?)

"Well, the fire one probably won't go off alone, and I'm guessing it will take the earth one a while to reform, so we really don't need to worry." Dou said from the controls, following where ever Kurama was going. Anti-Mage landed next to Relia, and spy was back at the elementals, watching them.

Kurama yelled back at the others.

"A friend of mine is supposed to meet me in a clearing near here! We gotta get there fast." Suddenly, Kurama heard buzzing. Lots of buzzing. He looked back as he ran. There was a swarm of giant Locust Demons chasing them. Locust Demons weren't dangerous one-on-one, but in large groups, the things were deadly.

"If you can, I recommend running faster!"

Kanko kept running as his initial burst of speed wound down. He was still ahead of the boy with the Raigekai(OOC:whatever), but just cause the boy fought the earth and fire elementals didn't mean he was friendly.

"Um... Girl behind me, shot fire at bees! That will slow them down."

"Fantastic. Oh well..."

Zankuro suddenly turned around mid-stride and began running backwards. He levelled Nosada at them, and started firing Izunas off at the demons.

"That should keep them quiet..."

"Don't look back, don't look back, don't look back... Bugger!"
Kanko tripped over a hidden root. He got up as fast as he could, but the boy had already overtaken him...

Zankuro turned back to the front just in time to trip over another root.

"DAMMIT!"

OOC: Every thing is trying to kill us...

Raziel looked back and aimed one hand at the cloud of demons. He fired a bolt that leapt from demon to demon, zapping a small hole in their numbers. He shook his head and said, "There are just too many of them. We need to get away." He fired another bolt to help try to thin the numbers, but he could only do so much.

...and passed right by. Kanko decided he would trust the boy as he started to run again, for now. It wasn't often that someone who passed right by him didn't try to hurt him.

"Great, more fun." Jade focused her energies and crossed her arms in front of her. Suddenly, she turned invisible. "That'll keep them off my tail."

OOC: We are going to have fun on the airship. Remember Jade's fear of heights?

Sham was doing the stupidest thing he had ever thought he'd done. First, they were running after people who had two very powerful demons after them. Second, to get to the people, they'd not only have to run fast, but they'd also have to get through a bunch of locust demons, which also were after the people it seemed.

In all this, he had come to one conclusion. Roe has finally snapped.

Still, he wouldn't abandon her, and those elementals were still behind them anyway, which left one option. He'd have to clear a path so they could get to the people they were chasing.

With one quick motion he threw his boomerang ahead of them them, towards the people being chased by everyone, and right through many of the insect demons.

Kurama could see the clearing. He also saw something that looked like a boat, but it didn't really matter. When Kurama got close, he yelled out.

"Everybody, hit the ground now!" Kurama took a leap, and sprawled out flat on the ground. Almost the moment he was down, large cylinders popped up out of the ground, and turned. One end of the cylinders were pointed at the swarm of demons, while there was a long strip that held a bunch of small metal nuggets leading into it. A wheel began to turn, and slowly the nuggets of metal began to be shot from the cylinders. Soon the metal nuggets came faster, mowing down any of the demons that got in it's way.

OOC: Boomerang? Insect demons? aaahhh! *Inuyasha flashback*

Zankuro was suddenly glad he had tripped and fallen.

As he scrabble along the ground towards Kurama, he shouted at him.

"What the hell are you doing, kid! Trying to kill us along with them?"

EDIT: OOC: Where'd the boomerang come from? I don't see no Sango around...

Kanko screamed and threw himself to the ground, hitting his head in the process.

OOC: Hm... Gaint Mech... Ducking...

Seeing the gatling guns (Dou would know of them) Dou quickly jumped to the passanger seat, ontop of Relia, forcing her down. Robo also jumped on top, keeping her pinned down. Mech's armor could take the bullets, but she couldn't.

"Ack!" Reala yelped as Dou jumped on top of her, forcing her down into the passanger seat. "What's going on?" She had been busy shooting bits of fire at the insect demons and missed the warning that Kurama yelled.

Kurama looked at Zankuro.

"I'm not doing it! It's the automatic defense system! Kane set it up so that it could sense evil Demon energy, and it would then blast them away with the gatling guns. It's quite effective, as you can see."

The swarm of demons was slowly thinning out. They were almost dead.

"Effective in killing us too! Turn it off! Tell him to do it now!"

Jade had heard Kurama's command at the last second and fell to the ground hard. Dropping out of invisibility she appeared next to Zankuro. "God could this day get any wierder?"

Kanko didn't know what exactly was going on, but he did know that when he had fallen he'd landed in a pile of animal droppings.

"Guns shooting, stay down." Dou lied as low as possible, not wanting his back exposed. Chances that the guns shot twelve feet up were unlikely, but not impossible.

Instinctively, Zankuro sheltered Jade with an arm.

"Get down! I doubt you can survive that barrage any better than me!"

Slowly, the only sound that could be heard was empty guns clicking. The defense system had run out of ammo. And with good timing, too. All the Locust Demons had died. Kurama stood up, and dusted himself off. When he looked up, a door in the strange ship opened up, and out popped Kane. Kane was a tall, thin man. He was around the same age as Kurama. They had grown up together. Kane was slightly eccentric, but there wasn't much that he couldn't make. Kane was laughing as he saw Kurama.

"My Automatic Demon Defense System, or ADDS for short, works perfectly!" Kane looked at the other people in the group.

"Ummm...Kurama. Who are these people?" Kurama shook his head.

"I honestly don't know."

ooc-Ugh...shut up. :D

Catching the returning boomerang, he stopped, seeing something happening to the locusts. Roe also stopped, sensible enough to know going ahead, wether to deal with the demons or the 'things', would be dangerous. "What is going on here?!"

"I don't know," he said, closing his eyes. "Let's just watch and see what happens."

"Ugh...nothing is gonna get in our way. Let's go ahead, we're not going to be left behind."

"Somehow, I knew you'd say that."

Luckily, at this point, the barrage had stopped, and it seemed safe to continue on.

Kanko stayed put. Whatever those things were, they were trouble, and he wasn't having any of it. Ants started to bite him.

Zankuro slowly got up, watching the area around him for any more surprises.

"You okay, girl? That reminds me... who the heck are you?"

Razial had fallen down, and waited for the gun fire to stop. After it did and the new figure appeared, he brushed himself off as if he had just tripped and not fought two elementals and an army of locust demons and said, "Hello, my name is Razial, a wandering warrior. It seems that all of us are due for some introductions..."

Dou got up, then helped Reala up. "You okay?"

Jade got up, and dusted herself off. "Let's just say that I'm an interested party who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. My name is Jade, and I think I'm going to join your quest thing."

OOC: And with that, the overtired college student bids you all a good evening.

OOC: Celes, just delete that and post it up here.

He nodded as he heard Jade speak.

"I see. At least I won't have to call you ninja girl any more..."

Zankuro turned to Razial, after he had made his introduction.

"Well, I'm Minazuki Zankuro, also a wandering waarrior, leader of men and a follower of women. I have the feeling you're here to get Takura as well, right?"

"Yeah, I'm alright," Reala replied, after they had gotten up out of the passanger's seat. "We should go down there and see what's going on." And with that, she promptly made her way down to the ground, she turned to Dou, "Oh yeah. Thanks for saving me."

(OOC: argh, I hate it when I change a post to fix something only to see that the other person changed their post too. ^^;; But it's fixed now. )

"Welcome." Dou said after jumping down. He looked at the front of Mech, who only had slight dents from the bullets. "Ugh... Going to need to flatten those out..."

(OOC: I'm going to have to make a new thread soon. Everyone make an introduction, and I'll start a new thread after that.)

Kurama looked at the large group that apparently was going to join him.

"So, you think we can handle all these people, Kane? Kane? What the..." Kurama looked to where Kane HAD been standing. Kane was now currently looking at the large Robot Duo was riding.

"Wow. Nice workmanship. What kind of energy ya' got running this thing? Hmmm. You know, you'd get less resistance in movement if you crossed these two wires here."

Kurama stared in surprise. Was he the only one shocked by all that just happened?

As the others milled around, Zankuro covered his eyes with his hands.

"This is my life... weird and filled with too much danger and not enough women..."

Kanko tried his best to make himself unnoticeable. However, the ants had gotten halfway up his pants leg and were making it very hard to remain still.

OOC: I'm technically a baddie, but I'll still introduce. Somebody find me

Dou smacked Kane. "They are crossed you idiot, get your eyes checked."

Kane rubbed his head.

"Not THOSE wires! THESE wires!" Kane pointed at two wires that were parallel.

"If you move those, you'll end up using less energy, and it'll make your attacks stronger."

Dou smacked Kane again. "If I did that, Mech would overload and explode. When your running on demon energy, things are different."

Reala twisted the lock of red hair around her forefinger as she stepped away from the machine, "So... What exactly happened back there? All I know is everything suddenly got all crazy and here we are, this big group of people who decided to all band together. Very strange." She continued, "And half of us even know each other's names."

(OOC: there, I set it up for introductions ^_^ )

(OOC: Yes, everyone introduce themselves, before a mod cracks down on my ass for going over the 100 post limit.)

Kane hit Duo.

"No it won't! Not if you cross these wires, then alter the energy flow from here to here, add in a nice coolant here. Hell, if we do this right, we can put some nice stuff on here." Kurama shook his head slowly.

"Kane, forget about the damn robot!"

OOC: Dou has somewhat introduced himself...

"Well, in case nobody knows me, I'm Minazuki Zankuro, leader of men, follower of women, and all of that crap. You must be that wizard girl who doesn't dress properly from just now, right?"

ooc-A short post, can't think of much to say.

"Don't dare leave us behind!" yelled a panting Roe. "We've chased you this far, so you can't forget about us."

Sham groaned. "Please don't...I don't want to deal with what would result if you do."

"And if you didn't use such crappy bullets, Mech might actually have a hole or two. What the hell are you using, bronze? And they shot out so weakly, do you even have gun powder in there?"

Zankuro looked over at the two kids running up to them.

"And who the hell are they?"

Kane looked defiantly at Duo.

"Those are prototypes. I don't use the good stuff until the real version." While Kane and Duo argued over their mechanic skills, Kurama went over to the two new people.

"Who are you two? Why were you chasing us?"

Reala looked at Zankuro, "Who doesn't dress properly?" She decided to skip the whole thing about the hot flames, "Just because I'm a fire mage doesn't mean that my entire wardrobe is red."

(OOC: This isn't power rangers. ^_^ heheh)

"Anyway, I'm Reala, the fire mage."

"Gaaah! Don't hurt Kanko!" Kanko screamed as he thrashed for a bit then hung limp from Kurama's grasp.

Kurama looked at the ferret in his hand.

"I wasn't going to hurt you. God, you have some serious problems there, demon."

Dou gave up on argueing with Kane, since he didn't understand demon mechanics enough.

Dou stopped just in time to hear the mage say her name. "Her name is Reala..." He thought outloud.

Zankuro sighed and turned to Reala.

"Well, most of the wannabes I know who set fire to things for a living tend to wear red..."

"Why should Kanko believe you, Slayer of Demons?" asked the ferret man pitifully. He then sneezed. "You carry the sword that killed Kanko's father!"

"Well, the hottest fires are blue... Or white... I forget which one, but blue and white are really hot. That's probably why she wears those colors."

Reala stopped twisting the lock of red hair, "Well, I'm not a wannabe. And it's not like I chose to become a fire mage... it just... happened, I guess."

She turned to Dou, "And thank you. You seem to be the only person who understands that."

Kurama was still arguing with the ferret demon.

"Hey, I didn't kill your dad. Somebody else did. I just have his sword. And trust me. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have already."

Roe, after catching her breath, straightened up to greet herself and her friend to Kurama. "I am Roe. This is Sham. Please to meet you.

"We were impressed by your abilities...we wish to join your group."

"What kind of mage did you want to be?" Dou asked. "I would think water..."
