OOC: How is your guy going to make it to the other ship without using his chain?

Once he heard Bruea, Aras ran to the edge of the mast and jumped. He could have easily landed on the enemy ship's deck without his chain, but then he wouldn't be right on the ropes.

In the air above the enemy ship's deck, Aras threw his shuriken at the main mast. On it's way there, it cut several of the riggings. Aras swung to the mast, then kicked himself off and landed on the riggings. Throwing his shuriken at the furthest away area of the riggings, the blade landed on the ropes without cutting them. Then Aras pulled on the chain, and the shuriken came to him, cutting the ropes on it's way to him.

Several spears came at Aras, but he swung from the now cut ropes and made his way to the crow's nest. The look out there was quickly thrown over the side onto some of the other shrouds that were not cut yet.

(OOC: Lycan said that anyone else who wanted to jump across could, so I am. Also, I found a lovely sight for Pirate Songs. I'll post it up later.)

Crow watched as the enemy ship got closer. He waited for a safe distance, and with a running leap, jumped up onto the rail and over onto the other ship. He landed on the deck, and his rapier was in his hand.

"You have just been boarded by the great John Crow. Consider yourselves lucky. I'll now be taking any valuables you might have." A fighter charged him, and with a few parries and a final thrust, Crow dispatched him.

"Of course, we could always do it the hard way."

OOC: Cannons aren't even going to be used at all? Cause getting in jumping distance usually means you are not shooting cannons...

Corgan double checked his guns, and decided to wait on the ship for the nemy to come to him. He drew his swords and said, "Bring them on, I'll take as many of the pirate scum as they have! It's take more than a ship full of ametures to bring down Corgan Atma!"

Kia waited with anitcipation for the pirates to board the ship. "Time to earn my keep." (OOC: I hope no one minds that I make the pirates board, but no one was doing it so I figured I would.) The Scellians were far from happy as they used parts of their now shredded rigging to swing onto the ship. Most held spears and swords as they made their way towards the group willing only killing on their minds. One swung at Kia, which she nimbly dodged. She proceeded to slice the man in half."Spinning around, she caught another in the head and snapped his neck cleanly. She glanced over at Syphrin, "you doing ok over there?"

A blade swung at Syprin's head. Adrenaline taking over, she quickly stopped the blade with one of her knives, then she put the other knife on the other side of the blade, trapping it. She glanced behind the attacker, seeing thathe was close to the edge. She landed her foot onto the pirate's chest and pushed with all of her strength. He stumbled back easily, not realizing how close to the edge he was. With a cry, he toppled over the edge into the water below.
She glanced at Kia, "I'm doing alright so far."

Raj saw a marauder going after Syprin from behind.

Raj ran, and flipped over him, ending on his feet with his dagger planted firmly in the man's gut. He yanked it out, and did a series of flipping kicks and slashes that knocked down another two before he nimbly dodged a massive two handed blow. Then rolled over his back and gave him a bare of vicious cuts.

Completely at peace, this landed Raj right next to Syprin. "How's it doin' chikita?"

OOC: Ugh! the Scellians weren't supposed to bord yet. I will say now, (official GM decree) that only a few jumped over, since our ships never collided. And as for cannon fire, it was grape shot. Think a cannon loaded with lots bullets giving pretty much a cannon-equivolent of a shotgun blast over the the ship. Doesn't hurt the ship, but pretty much kills anything that happens to be in front of it. It only works at close range, and is a great way of tilting the odds in your favor when you're about to bord. What the basic plan is, that the several people I sent to board will do as much damage to the ships rigging as they can, we will turn around, and then board from the other side once they're dead in the water.

Syphrin turned around to see Raj save her from one of the pirates. "Thanks..." She rushed the words out as she focused on her next attacker.

(OOC; sorry about the boarding Scellians. If Batgirl didn't do it, I probably would have... or at least somebody would have... ^^;; )

OOC: So they are not boarded yet, making Celes, SS, and Batgirl's post void?
