How To Lick Your Elbow!
Believe it or not, many people can lick their elbow-they just don't know it. The problem is usually with their method. Now, I have come to reveal to you a quick and painless method on how to succeed in this seemingly daunting task.*
However, there are a few physical requirements. First, you must have two full arms. Not one elbow, not one full arm, but two full arms complete with wrists and hands. Second, you must be capable of sitting or standing up without any back support. Third, you need a suitable tongue (just a few inches will do) that is moist and ready for some licking. Fourth, you need a neck. Finally, your two full arms must be able to firmly grasp each other behind your back, with one arm going over the shoulder on the same side, and the other arm going under. If you fulfill these requirements, then you have all the necessary equipment for the test. Step One: Sit or stand up without leaning against the wall. Step Two: Extend the most flexible arm out, keeping the entire length parallel to your shoulder. Step Three: Twist your arm clockwise (if it is the right arm) or counterclockwise (if it is the left arm) until the palm is facing upwards. Step Four: Take your other hand and grab your first arm by the wrist. Twist it as far as you can go (again, clockwise if the arm is the right arm, and counterclockwise if it is the left arm) without hurting yourself. Step Five: Stick out your tongue as far as it can go. Step Six: Extend your head towards your elbow, as far as it can go. Step Seven: Initiate licking. If, at this point, you are unable to make contact between your tongue and your elbow, then release your wrist and return to whatever you were doing before. If you were able to succeed in licking your elbow, feel free to return to what you were doing before, or go impress someone your 1337 elbow licking skills. If you didn't attempt this at all, then congratulations-you actually have a life. *Actual results may vary. Ecurt is not responsible for any injuries (mental or physical) that result from anybody attempting this. |
Psh. I tried that mathod when I was 12. I'm just too non-flexible in mah arms with a tongue that just can't be extended far.
Anywho, you're pretty much correct on the best way to do it. =D |
My uncle claims to have licked his own elbow once. Nasty accident. Personally, I think he's full of it, you can't tell me you'd think to take the time to lick your elbow when your shoulder's been massively dislocated and your arm twisted halfway around in a freak industrial accident. He ended up losing everything from about an inch above the elbow on down.

I can't do the grabby behind the back part, my muscles get in the way, strange but true. If you can't touch your fingers to your shoulders (palms up elbows at your sides) you are done in this endevour.

Oh god, I remember when I saw you lick your elbow in class oh so many months ago... MY MIND WAS BLOWN.
Brains were splattered all over the walls of Room E-9. |
My tounges way to short. Its also pretty flat.

I... am... so... close...
If only my tongue was a centimeter longer... Or... I must try my other arm! *Goes away to try licking his other elbow* ... Hah! Did it! Licked my left elbow! I HAVE NO LIFE! I must now celebrate this realization! |
I couldn't lick either elbow. I must now go...learn to make my tongue grow...or something... XD My sister thought I was making this up to make her look stupid. XD She couldn't either. ^^;

Actually, it's not too hard...Just takes a bit of stretching and I can kind of graze my elbow. And break your arm? Hehehehe.
