Ah, I knew I'd forgotten something. Although I am a little confused. Given the definite tones of D&D in that spell list, I do seem to recall Harm being a touch range spell that only affects living creatures. To answer your last question: not very quickly at all.

And Hawk, not being psychic makes one immune to psionic attack!

Not so, a powerful psychic is more able to throw off a powerful psionic attack due to them having increased mental powers.

Not having a living brain on the otherhand would indeed make one immune.

It's not a DnD spell; it's my slight variation of a spell, taken from a spell itself taken from DnD and strongly adjusted. It's two steps removed.

Anyways, it doesn't seem like Infravision is in for the time being, so I'll go figure out what to do about this latest development.

You guys wanted light, I gave you light... sorta.

So much for you're precautions and all that planning ahead you seem to always do!;)

Well, to answer the first and third parts of your question, the technology is rudimentary at best and, frankly, I don't want her getting signals in her head from anyone who isn't me. Have you ever tried to firewall a psychic connection? It ain't easy, brother.

As for the second part, she technically does have a synthetic brain. Think about it.

Oh, I'd also like to add that Skyshot's most recent post is my favorite thing ever today. Very nicely done!

Nothing much from me, just moving to get ready for another attack.

If she does have at least some synthetics in her noggin, then technicaly she should be able to pick up telepathic signals.

Meh doesn't look like it matters much now though, seeing as the light's back... sort of, so I assume you can now see the Caryatid to throw Skyshot. Could offer some interesting things later though if I can't communicate with REI.

But, can I also ask why an android, built for combat situations, doesn't have some sort of visual enchancments built in? Even JC Denton had lights in his eyes, and he was only using nannites and cyborg like augments.

Before I forget, if Skyshot has infravision on, he had better not look directly at me, as there's a LOT of heat coming off of me.

Yeah, by "synthetic brain", I mean more in the line similar to that box that your monitor's hooked up to.

Well, it's not the lights that are the problem. She can see in the dark just fine. It's the massive blinding sandstorm that's obscuring her view and disrupting most of her ocular scanners. The Caryatid, being made of stone, doesn't emit enough in the way of heat for infrared scans to really do much good, either. Honestly, I had almost altogether ignored Garud's darkness spell because my opinion was that it made little to no difference as far as simple eyesight was concerned.

Sorry guys; my phone line shorted out and I've been internetless. Hopefully I'll get a post up this evening, or maybe tomorrow morning.
