I'm guessing between Sky's sparks, Flares flame and my glow we might throw enough lite around to give us a bit of direction.

In any case, I couldn't help but notice we had a lot of weirdness going on and felt the need to comment on it. Morbo style!

I do seem to be doing a lot of bad things happening to people. Then again, I even do it to my own character, so I suppose its just being democratic. Still, remind me to do something nice for you guys at some point.

You know the only fire I got was my wings, and the heat was more of a snake deterrant, for the vines she'd try to cut them with her firewhips. The lighting the vines on fire was just something she hoped would happon. And yes, I just now noticed my misthought in it. Why? Because I've been...distracted the past week.

Just so you know Arhra, nightvision IS on my character sheet. I know hawks are daylight hunters for the most part but some do indeed hunt during the night. Even though he may look like a simple red-tailed hawk, I did state that he has the characteristics of all of his kind, as in, every ability of all known hawk species.

I must confess, that is an oversight on my part. However, I must also add had I noticed this mention of night vision, I would probably have commented on it back then. I'm not familiar with any form of hawk that has good night vision. Additionally, looking at the character sheet right now, I have never seen any mention of having composite qualities. Seems a bit strange that a curse would do so in any case.

On something completely unrelated, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't pure water actually a poor conductor of electricity? Still, making the vines more conductive than being dry is the important bit I suppose.

Also, is it just me or did Tarrin just charge right into the nasty giant sand maelstrom?

In other news: Inbred is in trouble. Or rather, is going to be, given the vines and the bad position. Just saying, as I don't seem to have made myself clear enough in the thread.

What would you say the odds of Steel hitting the caryatid are? I mean, he can't see her, but he's firing quite alot of beams in her direction, and she's standing still.

I'd say you have a better chance of getting so lost you hit yourself in the back with the beams.


But that's just me, and only because it would be funny.

The curse was that he would become the embodiment of his namesake, hence the conjoining affect. But anyway, the ability is there, though.

I think it's a safe bet I've hit her. The sand would cool off pretty quickly what with all it's swirlingness, so the only thing in there that'll heat up would be the caryatid, who's really an easy target at the moment, what with her not moving. So all thats left is the throwing/TKing Skyshot.

Ok, that will be the last "lost" style flashback for a while, but don't worry, it'll all be worth it in the end, I'm working up to something. And yes, I stole the name Cort from The Dark Tower, but only because I couldn't think of a good name for that guy and the similarities are so close. It may also give you a little hint about where I'm going with this if you've ever read DT.;)

For now though REI can now throw Skyshot and Hawk's just going to rest a bit. If anyone can throw a cure his way it'd be much appreciated.

I don't know when I'm going to post again next though. I'm going to be away from Friday evening until around Sunday afternoon. By then the Caryatid may be beaten and we may be moving on so either leave me there or whatever and I'll catch up whenever.
