I can back this up. While investigating temporal disturbances in multiplayer First Person Shooters, I opened up a portal to the future and picked up Atomic Robo. Every page looks as good as the cover and the last page of the third issue especially so.

Brian, you dummy! Er . . . I mean . . .I think I made you make a mistake, Mr. Magnanomous Overlord, Sir.Your Worship. I am shamed.
You posted the wrong cover. I had a little chat with Lawrence about how we artsie folk feel about colorists coloring big chunks of black space that we left BLACK on purpose. PLus the clouds were gay. Its this one: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...omicOeming.jpg As for you non-Americans out there, let me first say, don't I wish I were you. Though 2008 is fast approaching so this place is looking better. :stressed: ATOMIC ROBO will be available WORLD WIDE. While it will be in retail comic shops throughout the country (we hope), we are also planning to make it available through the regular 8-Bit store. Oh, and we've devised an insidious way for someone to win a free copy each month. Wont that be fun?! :D |
Whatevs! Both are beautiful. Like you artists know anything about arting anyway. :B

Truly, a battle of wits of Shakesperian proportions.
Anyway, both rock, but, yeah, the second cover looks better -- not so busy, so the reader's eye is more immediately drawn to the unbridled awesome that is Atomic Robo (well, when he's posing on the cover, at least. :P). |

I can only kiss so much ass a month and if I were to do anymore I would be considered a asskissing god since that amount of asskissing is not physicaly possible! |
Speak not my name in vain, pencilmonkey!
No Christmas card sending pencilmonkey, at that! |
I need to know. Will this project be related to the Atomic Robo from Brian's links page, and does it have anything to do with the sudden disappearance of all the posts there and restarting of the whole thing? I looked through the thread, but I could find no solid confirmation that it was.
If it is, I am going to have a hard time getting used to the new, gun-toting, pants-wearing Atomic Robo. But I am sure I will, so long as he continues to rock just as much. |
Robo always wore clothes.
There's really nothing to get used to. A few minor details were changed. And the things that were changed were wholly superficial with no impact on the core character of Robo. We'll put up some sample pages though so you can make the call yourself. |
So now my contribution is purely superficial? Fine.
Oh, and I'll have art posted today on my new site. |
