Just re purschased Starcraft...
For the heck of it my old disks had be stolen/sratched/dissapeared. Got the battle chest of the original game and brood war for 20.00$ good deal and I've been playing it a lot.
Anyone else still play this great game? Is there anything more satisfiying in all of Videogamedom than blowing the crap out and invading force of zerglings with a rain of Siege Tank fire? I submit there is not. |

I like Starcraft, one of the few strategy games that I have enjoyed, but I didn't like it enough to go back and play it now and again once I finished a few games. I still have it though, so maybe one day when I'm really bored and have nothing else to play... |

I play. I'm reasonably good at it, but not excellent. I've never played it against a real person though, so...
|
Eh. I bought Starcraft Battlechest half a year ago, beat single player, went online...and quit a day later, disgusted at how much blatent cheating there was. Other than that, hey, good stuff.

Starcraft is the only computer game I have that I can play, since my computer decided to start sucking after I had to reinstall windows... But I only play UMS maps, cause money maps are boring.
|
I play it in single player; however, I'm too lazy or suck at it or (likely) both, so I cheat like nobody's business... one day, I might play it the honest way, but in the last three or four years it never looked much like it.

As long as you don't cheat on B.net, I don't care. Cheaters on B.net need to be punished severely. I remember the first time I played online, the bastard cheated with an infinite minerals and no fog of war cheat, so he cannoned me into my base and killed me in 15 minutes. I love Starcraft, but I hate cheaters.

You can't do mineral cheats on Bnet... All there is are maphacks, that's all. No mineral cheats, though people want to believe that so they have an excuse as to why they lost. He probably didn't map hack either....

I simply suck at Starcraft (I'm none too hot at WC3, but at least I've won a few honest games in that.) but UMS is the best thing ever. If my SC disc hadn't been scratched into unusability, I'd still be playing Kill That Zerg.
Enfo's Team Survival for WC3 is pretty good, too. Dark Deeds is a good one, but not finished. I might like MTG (the WC3 map, not the card game), but a friend of mine is so insanely good at it that everyone else may as well leave at the beginning of the game. Also, Black is overpowered. I once almost beat him with black, and that says a LOT. |
