Calvin and Hobbes on Robot Chicken

So wrong yet so PERFECT!

Mars is amazing.... Mars is amaaaaazing..........

See, what's really a big deal about this is the fact that this is the first time that Calvin and Hobbes has ever been animated, to my knowledge. Not only that, but it was refreshing to see Calvin in something that wasn't praying or pissing on a Ford logo.

Seriously, haven't the people that make those stickers been sued yet?

Wow.....just...wow....

I never once considered that Calvin might be schizophrenic until I saw this. I always just assumed that Calvin's absolute, unfaltering belief that Hobbes was a living being that brought him into existence.

Anywho, I continue to love Robot Chicken. Well played, Mr. Seth Green.

It seems like I'm one of the only ones here who didn't like the sketch. Then again, I think Robot Chicken is mostly poorly constructed unfunny sketches that try to cash in on nostalgia more than any comedic merit. While this sketch wa one of the better ones, it still falls short of the funny line.

Also, it's a fairly standard Calvin & Hobbes parody. It's nothing I haven't really seen before.

I'm going to have to go with Bravefencer on this one. It was too forced in it's attempt to get the point across.

I smell a lawsuit.

This wasn;t funny. Seemed to...forced.

I'm sorry, but this debate is boring and stunts my homicidal fantasies, therefore I cannot entertain it with any serious reply. If Robot Chicken wants to parody something and nobody minds, let it go man. Some people WANT to be parodied, like George Clooney on South Park.

I don't want to watch that, because I'm afraid it's going to ruin my childhood.

actually, it doesn;t ruin it because it makes the comic shine even greater.
