My Final Fantasy Tactics Gamesave amazes me...
 

I pulled out the game for the first time in months and my highest leveled Black Mage mastered Curaga as a White Mage and does not know any Black Mage spells (Terra Rod). Apparrently, he was a Soldier or a Fighter at one point... He could hit a 79 with his rod and my other mages hit 1's.

What was your awkwardest Final Fantasy experience/realization.

In keeping with the topic, I picked up FFX again a while back, figured I'd finish leveling up, beat out the Omega dungeon, that sort of thing. Turns out I'd forgotten that I'd already levelled to the point where I had beaten the Omega dungeon with no difficulty whasoever, which I realized when I'd fought through it yet again (with astonishingly little effort), got to the bit where the boss was supposed to be, saw he wasn't there and went oh son of a crap, that's right!

Fifth - There's always Nemesis at the Battle Arena in the Calm Plains area. Ten million HP, now that is a tough fight even with optimized gear.

Hmmm, don't think I ever did do that one. Might be worth a go.

Too bad you don't have PAL, then you could go after Penance, the physical incarnation of sadism in Final Fantasy.

What's PAL?

The PAL version is the international version we get over here in europe (and maybe other places) which sometimes, like in FFX, gets extra content. Like the dark aeons, all of which were stronger than omega, and penance, the unlockable boss which you needed to complete the entire sphere-grid for all your characters just to have a chance with him. And the battle then lasts about an hour (unless you use yojimbo). Which I did. I mean, come on, whats the point of unlocking the most powerful monster ever if your not going to beat him in a few seconds?

Australia as well Steel Shadow, one of the few times we were compensated for the delay, and yeah he's a monster.

And Omega himself is stronger, 999999hp rather than 99999. Still hasn't got anything on the Dark Aeons though.
