Recently, I have become guilty of wearing sweatpants on lazy days. On average days, it's usually jeans with a tanktop or long t-shirt with a sweater or jacket. Skirts in warm weather. On better days, I wear a blazer. I'm also a fan of boots, but not of the pain that accompany them. I always wear a watch (a necessity) and usually some jewellery.

Blue pants for life!
I usually wear blue jeans and a tshirt, a zip up hoodie (i find that theyre more versatile) and a thin chain and a watch. Old run down sneakers, and socks that i cut to make them shorts. I like my pants loose. Pretty much i wear just about anything that looks lived in, as long as it conforms to the above rules. |
Party clothes: Jeans, a baby blue tshirt, a burlap sack that says corona, my corona straw hat, shell necklace with a cigarette at the mouth.
Normal clothes: Jeans, baby blue tshirt, blue stripped long sleeve shirt, brown felt hat and a shell necklace with a cigarette at the mouth. Formal clothes: Khaki pants (olive, beige, navy) with a sweater and a cigarette in the mouth. Or black dress pants, black and white pin stripped shirt, silver/blue tie, black jacket with a cigarette in the mouth. When i'm being lazy, slippers, brown felt hat, boxers, wifer beater, with a cigarette in the mouth. It doesn't matter what i dress in, i seem to always look like a cowboy. |
If I have a T-shirt, it has to say something or have a logo on it.
For exampl-ay. I have a Monty Python "It's just a flesh wound!" shirt, the Church of Optimus Prime, a Superman shirt (I dunno why, but it's black and silver), and the like. I am ready to buy "ROBOTS IN DISGUISE" when christmas is over. The rest of my shirts? Floral button ups and jeans. Tommy Vercetti style, baby. Where'd I put my chainsaw? |
Without fail, I wear t-shirts and shorts. And also, my collection of the shrunken heads of people who think that what they wear constitutes a "style."
For formal occasions, I've got my pick of a tux or a pinstripe suit. Ties are mediocre, but I've got a badass bari sax tie pin, so it's all good. |
I wear a blue coat just about everyday. Doesn't matter if it's cold or not. I just wear it.

Lazy Days: Sweatpants, t-shirt
Normal: Jeans or corduroys, t-shirt or long sleeved shirt of some kind, running shoes, short socks, ring my mom gave me. If it's cold I'll throw a sweatshirt or a zipup on. Formal: Business suit or skirt with a blazer/blouse and heels. |
Casual: Black pants, shell or t-shirt (usually a shade green, blue, or purple), black parka or navy winter coat, black leather moccasins or leather sandals, sometimes necklace and earrings, hair usually pulled back in a ponytail
Formal/Business: Black and ivory suitdress or other formal-looking dress, pantyhose, black chunk heels, necklace and stud earrings, full makeup, hair in a more formal style (it's waist-length, so I have to make it behave when the occasion calls for it) |
This thread would be much more effective in the form of a camwhore sub-category.
I wear distressed Tees with mosimo blazers and black & white converse shoes! |
Though I have shopped in Harajuku and Ginza, I find that Japanese fashion is meant for... smaller persons. Being quite American in my build with the broad shoulders and all that I find that I can't pull off the wildest of styles. I try to throw in a little panache with the classical button down American look however.
I tend to define my style by the designers I wear, none of which are too expensive (mostly because I am poor). I tend to identify more with a an East Coast or New York aesthetic, Keeneth Cole is a particular favorite of mine. I typically won't go below a level of "dress casual." I wear a nice pair of straight leg jeans, a dress shirt of some sort and if the weather permits a funky blazer of some sort, nothing ovelry sophisticated. At the heights of my fashion conceit I'll wear a tailored suit with shined oxford shoes, french cuffs with cufflinks and the most expensive watch I can get my hands on. I prefer darker hues like blues and greys. I like to wear ties but ina sort of nonchalante, half off way. A single windsor not not quite done up to the top with the top button undone says, "I could dress just like a wallstreet exec, but why?" while a double windsor done all the way up is for more formal occassions (moslty when I have to impress old people.) I tend to be very experimental with fashion though, and I've worn some off the wall things. Mostly consisting of multihued patterned shirts. I won't typically wear a t-shirt in public unless I really don't care what I look like that day, for instance going to the supermarket or the bank. basically I'm a fashion whore. :B |
