Who would win?
Cloud or Tidus
My bets on cloud just for they pure fact that tidus is a pansy

Why is this even a debate? I'm saying tidus, he beat a huge monster and all cloud did was kill a fancy-lad pretty boy.

your right Tidus is a panzy...I never played the FF with cloud in it, but he has still gotta be better then Tidus...

You never played FF7? Anyway, Cloud has a bigass sword, and Tidus has something... I guess.

Tidus has... a medium-ass sword? He has a good size sword too, although not as big as Cloud's, or Auron's I believe... Of course if this gets into a discussion of swords, Gunblade was the coolest ever.

But back on track, I would vote Cloud from a purely combat standpoint, since Cloud can equip a Knight of the Round Materia and whup butt, while Tidus... is restricted by the sphere grid system (Man I hate that thing...) and can never get any summon. The best he could do was take a loooong time to get Vivi's Magic, when all Cloud has to do is grab a few pieces of magic materia at any time and start casting.

Cloud would win, but since I've never played a PS1 final fantasy, I'm basing this on how cool he is. Plus, if we're talking about the Cloud from Kingdom Hearts, he'd kick butt even more!!!

Yeah, stylistically and statiscially, Cloud beats Tidus' pretty boy face...and cmon, KH Cloud's badassness alone would decimate Tidus...

Tidus wins because he has the power of Meg Ryan, and no one can fuck with Meg Ryan.

I'm pretty sure that I don't want to know what the hell that sentence means...but Cloud still wins...and, Cloud got his choice of three girls (well, two, but one died), while Tidus was basically pussy-whipped from the start...

Well, tidus's max damage is approximatly 10x Clouds, and his max overdrive is about the same style, so Tidus woudl win there, as long as you are talking Sumon materia (that can be conjoined with Get MP and Get HP) vs not being able to get any summons...
