Best Console
 

I got a question for ya. What is the best current console? Why?

I am and always will be, a PC gamer. PS2 is nice, but the PC is eternal. The PC was around for Nintendo. It saw the fall of Sega. It witnessed the age of 3-d. It was here yesterday, it will be here tommorrow.

For me, it has to be the PS2. It's the only console that lets you use it for games of it's previous incarnation. I mean, when was the last time you played Super Mario 64, or Castlevania, on a Gamecube? Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against Nintendo, it's just an example. Anyways, this tiny little feature means that there were hundreds and hundreds of games avaliable for the PS2 before it went through the prototype phases. Pure class. *Message ends*

As long as sony are the ones getting the final fantasies im staying with playstation.

Ah, let us not forget that Nintendo have FF Tactics now. But yeah, that's another reason I love PlayStation! FF, whoo!

PC is the best console. It has the biggest variety of games, it's upgradable, down-compatible, and versatile. You don't have to hack it to install Linux on it. And even though it's illegal, you can play games from practically every other console on it.

I'll vote for GC, just because it needs some love...
Poor little thing.

I voted for PC, for all the obviouse reasons, but I dont think it is really fair to call it a console.

I can't see this thread turning out very well... Please, don't turn it into a console war.
