Your Favorite Songs to Hear/Sing Topic.

Try not to argue(edit) too much, if you get into arguements(edit) try to take it outside. Please. Por favor. Svp. Bitte. Don't make me go into Asian Languages.
Edit: Sorry... I had to head over to MicroCenter to buy my Brother-in-Law an XBOX 360 for his B-Day. Didn't have time to proof read this.

Um, this is sort of a, you know, conversational forum. In fact we sort of prefer for our threads not to be nothing but bland, sterile lists utterly devoid of character or dialogue, hereabouts. Really it's just boring.

As such I'm gonna say to my fellow posters, by all means should you feel free to go on at any length you like about why you love singing or hearing whichever particular song, any particular disagreement you have with anyone else's choice of song, maybe a humorous or touching anecdote you might have related to the song in question, really, whatsoever might happen to strike your fancy.

Well, I can't really claim to have a favorite song to listen to, as that pretty much changes based on my mood. The title of my favorite song to sing, however, goes to "Underground" by The Julius Airwave. Good beat, interesting melody, fits nicely into my range and really allows me to put some volume behind it.

Unfortunately, there isn't anywhere online that I know of that has that specific song available, but a few of their more recent tracks are on Myspace. They aren't too bad.

Favourite songs to hear at this moment?
Eyes on me, performed by Angela Aki. Such a good voice she has, and it fits this song.
1000 Words by Jade (or so they tell me). Very emotional song. Always brings a small tear to my eye. In combination with the video, I'll cry all out.
So sad, so beautiful...

Favourite song to blare along to:
Bring it on by Steven Curtis Chapman. MAN! That's some rock! I LOVE it!

But like POS, it depends on my mood.

I actually just spent the drive home singing along to 'Midnight Show', by The Killers, which is both one of my favorite driving songs and one of my favorite singing songs. The incitement to just put pedal to floor and wail is really just impossible to resist.

Another favorite would be Date With a Night, by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, if it were physically possible to get my voice up that high. But that ain't gonna happen.

Singing, well, for me it's anything Bon Jovi. They're my favorite group, overall. As for likeing to hear, it's also dependent on my mood. Like right now, there's Disturbed: Ten Thousand Fists playing in my CD player.

"More than a Feeling" by Boston. It is the ultimate rock song. If you disagree, you're lying to yourself. I love hearing it, and I love singing it (albeit I sing it very, very poorly - given the vocal range in the song, this isn't a surprise).

Other than that, I suppose I like singing along to everything by my favorite band, The Stereo. But that probably has something to do with them being my favorite band. Oh, and that extends to their main songwriter's "new band" (even though they just fired the 2nd guitar player and drummer and got a new one) LET GO. (It's in all caps because they write it that way. I think it's the proper spelling.)

I concur. "More Than A Feeling" is one of those "sing in the car where nobody can hear you" songs. It's fun as hell.

Also, Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin and Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas.

I have random tastes. One day I will listen only to Johnny Cash, next day Green Day, next day Classic rock.

Also, i don;t care about the flaming, but I find Pride (In the Name of Love) By U2 one of the In the Car Alone songs.
