Just wanted to let you know...
 

Hey, (I hate to be the bearer of bad news but...) I just got an e-mail from Raiden. His computer appearantly got a virus and his parents are blaming it on the forums... sooo... he can't come back until he can convince his parents otherwise. (which may be months, if ever...) And they wouldn't even let him on to tell us. So he's using me as his messanger.

He said that we can kill off all of his characters in any RP that he's in. Though... I'm not sure of what's to become of Soldiers of Light, since everyone seemed to like that RP a lot, and it would be a shame just to let it die because of this.... but I don't know what else we can do about it.


(sorry in advance RaiRai. I know a thread about this might be unnecissary, but I don't know exactly which RPs Raiden's in, and I figured this would be the easiest way, instead of posting over and over again in each RP I think he's in. Plus the members of Soldiers of Light can discuss what to do, since I don't know if they would want to try and keep it going or not. If you want me to, I'll delete this thread ASAP. *bows* Sorry again.)

Wow, that is really horrible. And the thing is, I have an idea how he feels since I had a similar situation a few years ago. Parents that don't understand computers really make life difficult at times. Here's to hoping for a swift recovery to Raidan's situation, and that he convinces his parents of how it works soon, and that you DON'T get viruses from forums...

On the subject of SoL, I really have no idea. I was liking it, but this really throws a wrench in it. The options are, Raiden send the game plan he had for the RP, and we try to finish it on our own (Would be strange, I vote no); Raiden hands over the RP to someone new altogether (Wouldn't be the same, I still vote no); or we let the RP sit in stasis until Raiden gets back, then we try to revive it (Still a horrible option, but I would vote ofr it).

Also, I'll be gone on friday for another eight days. So, I guess Harmony of Chaos has died too.

Then it is time for my newest RP idea to rise and conquer all while everything else is dying! *laughes maniacly*

...Just kidding. I wouldn't do that. (Well, I would start my new RP sometime, but I wouldn't start it at a specific time just because other things are dying.)

I asked Raiden in my e-mail what he thinks should be done with Soldiers of Light, but I'm pretty sure it'll die, much like the Orbs one did back on TWC when Raiden got grounded.

Wow, thats totally bad news for me. I was just about to introduce my chaicter in Soldiers of Light. I was going to wait until after the gargoyle battle....I guess I waited too long.

Wow. Needless to say thats a bit heavy. I didn't know Raiden that well but getting a virus from a forum seems an irrational judgement. We will either await his return or make sure to burn his character sheet (random RM quote :P).

We shall keep a fire burning in the windows until he returns.

Well, that's the first time I've heard of a virus lurking in the forums. Perhaps Brian, or one of the other admins could send him an e-mail or something declearing that there are no viruses in these forums.

Since his parents are so brain dead, any of us could send an e-mail saying that were the head of the forums and that all of Raiden's online buddies had pestered us to clear this whole mess up...

And if Raiden wasn't planning on changing the standard LoT formula too much, anybody could temporarily comandeer the RP...it wasnt too complicated plot wise last time...

lol, they think that this forum transmited a virus?! Oh man, what were they smoking?
