Heavy Metal: Second meeting.
 

John was waiting at the space port for the ship from Arrakis. He did not look pleased. He checked his watch again.

Ooc: ok the Arrakis mission was FUBARed, needless to say those on it did not get paid. Also I want everyone who still wants to continue to check in. Just post that your charachter is doing some kind of garage work or something. Raiden is dead for the time being, but he does have the possibility of getting better.

(OOC) FUBARed?

ooc: "Fucked up beyond all recognition" in the past tense.

Kyle ran another system check on his new jump jets to make sure they were working properly. He had been tuning his mech ever since it had returned from the shop. Kyle didn't like how the mech reasoned, he preferred worn in mechs to crisp new ones. Dozens of non simulated practice sessions had not only helped break in the mech, but also get him used to moving in it with it's new equipment. Kyle was particularly proud of his new main weapon. It did 3 times the damage of the original with a slightly slower fire rate.

As he took a break from working he walked to the middle of the garage and took a good long look at his mech. It was now painted in his old earth force parade colors, blue, green, and white with some gold trim. For the most part it looked the same as the stock mech he had received upon signing but that's what Kyle liked most about it. It would come as a surprise to any opponents what he could actually do. Of course, he would have liked to upgrade several other systems on his mech, but unfortunately monetary limitations prohibited him.

Kyle sighed, "A few more missions and I wont have to deceive the enemy into thinking my mech sucks."

Kansai looked his Mech up and down and smiled. It was just as he had imagined it (bar a few parts here and there). He glanced over at Pilsbury who looked needless to say quite pissed off. "I'm assuming the Arrakis Mission went to hell, sir"

OOC: two things: One- Guess whos been through 4 blackouts on consecutive afternoons! (one lasted 22 hours!!!). Two- Jad I would really appreaciate some help getting a mech together. Yes I probably am stupid for not being able to do it myself but every time I try it ends up overweight or under powered.

"Three men against eight prepared enemies. I can't believe I actually went along with it."

Wayward snorted and continued dusting off his hoverchair's console.

"Two men, and a girl, actually. Mine got shot to pieces." Erika said.

"I sit corrected. Still doesn't change the fact that we got our asses handed to us."

"There you are. You fucked up royal. Repairs are coming out of my pocket and going on your tabs." John said when he saw the to walk off the platform.

(OOC: I'm still around and so is Joanna, I just can't think of what to have her do. So just FYI <-- the most useless post ever)
