Need opinions about this shirt design
 

I thought about dropping this in the art section, but I'm not really asking for opinions on the art itself. What I need to know is what I should put on the sign.

The words "Free Treasure" were something my artist just popped in the image as a place-holder. He's getting ready to color and vector it, but before he gets that far, I wanted to see how people felt about it.

Any ideas, or do you think this is good?

I dunno, sorta evokes a work by artist Dana Schutz.

It's not bad. Since the writing on the sign is a placeholder, I'll withhold any negative criticism about how that looks because it has nothing to do with anything in the long run.

I like it, but I think it'd be funnier if "Treasure" was misspelled really badly.

Like, if half of the letters were drawn backwards ('b's are 'd's, for example). I do like it though. Here's another one: "NOT A TRAP"

Or, perhaps, "Looks just like the real thing!"

Well, combine the two. Have the horribly misspelled "Free Treasure" thing and then, in smaller text beneath, have "(not a trap)", though perhaps equally misspelled if that's your thing. I can't imagine how you could conceivably not know how to spell "not", "a", or "trap", but whatever.... "Knot a trapp" maybe?

Take "Free treasure (not a trap)," ask a 12-year-old GameFAQs forum member to spell it and you're good to go.

Haha, thanks for the advice folks. I'll run it by him this weekend and see if he can sketch something up.

change the tongue from its anthropomorphic style to a reptillian one. snake (forked) tongues are a more sinister looking symbol.
