Haha reading all these stories on hellish temperatures makes me laugh. I live on the California coast and sure it gets pretty cold sometimes but all I need is two sweaters (which is pretty rare) and it is all good. It hasn't even rained during the day for the past two weeks (as I remember). Also, what is this "snow" that you people keep on babbling about? :D

Let's look at it this way. Elves have a cannon that shoots a giant, that never actually kills anything except for the giant itself (it didn't even destroy the ship the LWs were on). It should also be noted that it was only completed recently, and relies solely on the mass of the giant to deal damage.
