Fighter more and more reminds of me of Bertie Wooster, who P. G. Wodehouse described as having "the ruins of a first-rate education".
(Any of you that haven't read the Jeeves books should DIE! [or preferably, get around to reading them])
Main difference: Bertie's schemes rarely involved the same kind of violent action Fighter's do, though the level of hare-brained-ness was probably just as high. And Fighter doesn't have anyone intelligent to bail him out when things go wrong.
Fighter's degree was in overcomplicated language, not obscure language per se, so it may be hit and miss whether he's able to cope with Lefeinish.

Maybe Fighter's like a Discworld troll and he can only think when his head is cold?

The idea of Hugh Laurie playing Fighter in some sort of, say, live-action movie or something, does have a certain appeal, too.

GHKT!!

Live action 8-bit.

My brain just tried to vomit itself out my ear.
And, subsequently, has managed to avoid answering how it would go about doing that.

It sounds like a good idea to me....

Sorry, live-action DBZ popped into my head at the same time, and live-action Goku launched a live-action-Kamehameha at live-action Black Mage, who lauched a live-action-Hadoken. My brain attempted to dodge out of the way, and vomited itself out of my ear. (Or attempted too, I'm not sure which)
The result spilled onto the forums.

If some one wanted to film live action 8-bit in their back-yard, I'd love to see it.

An 8-bit Anime would be much better.

Also i've never really thought to think about this, but how old is Thief? I mean he could very well be over a hundred considering how slowly elves age.

How old are they all? BM only went through puberty a year before the strip started, or less when you consider how long it was from the start to the point where it was mentioned.

I always figured that BM was 18-19, Fighter being 21 or so, and RM being like 25. Thief i never really thought about, i mean i kinda assumed he was like Fighter's age, but since he's an elf he's probably older than the other three combined.

In my opinion, Elves have the greatest religion.

Actually, mine is quite similar =3

That was a fat lie. I try to avoid religion at all costs.
