Fighter's constant reminiscing about Fighter's Camp '86 would lead one to believe that, if we're assuming that 8BT time correlates to our own, Fighter would be somewhere between 25 and 30 years old. And seeing as how BM and Fighter both failed their respective final exams on the same day, that probably means that they're about the same age. See here: OMG SECRET ORIGINS!!!@

Judging by RM's hair color, either he's relatively old or the process of acquiring the ultimate understanding of the innermost workings of the universe has driven him gradually insane.

As for Thief, I remember seeing a comic featuring an elven baby once who was only 35, so Thief himself is probably a good deal older.

Well if we assume that baby was about 12 months, then Elf years=35 human years. Thief appears, relatively, the same age as Fighter and BM who both took their exams on the same day so they may be the same age (unless swordsmanship and black magic have different courses, which they probably do).

RMs hair colour means little as it is possible for someone's hair to turn white at a young age (its apparently a hormonal thing) so he may be the same age as the others.

Biologically speaking if BM has no problems then at the oldest he would have gone through puberty is at about 19. There are medical conditions which suspend puberty indefinitely though (treatable by hormonal treatments, and magic).

So by this logic the LW are about 20 while Thief is about 700 years old.

Then again RPG characters do have a habit of starting young....

I've always figured that since BM is obviously a genius when it comes to black magic that he would have been bumped up a few grades making it reasonable for him to be younger that Fighter but have his finals on the same day.

Fighter would have to be reasonably young to have been kicked out near graduation somewhat recently.

It's true genetics could acount for RM's white hair, hell i'm only 18 and my hair is beginning to grey. Of course he could have also just wrote white under the hair color part of his character sheet. But i've always thought he was at least 4 or 5 years older than Fighter since he is so knowllegable.

Theif's age i suppose is up in the air.
