Because coke is kinda like the vanilla ice cream of soda. It can taste good, but is just the basic flavor and is passed up for sodas with all kinds of flavors and stuff. |
Dr Pepper. Pibb is close, Cherry Coke comes next, but Dr Pepper reigns supreme. Not only is it sooooooo good, it is consistently good(even though different) all over the US, and in the UK.(Dr Pepper bought in America tastes good in Canada, but I've never bought groceries of any kind in Canada)
Dr Pepper is the nectar of the gods. Despite popular belief, Dr Pepper Co. doesn't 'make' Dr Pepper, it is syphoned up out of never-ending vats in the earth where it is refilled by angels who make it in heaven. Anyone who tells you different is a hellspawn. I drink somewhere around 300-400 oz in a slow week. |
I'd probably say plain Coke for first, Dr Pepper second, and plain Sprite third. Those "experimental" drinks are nifty to try once in a while, but you get tired of them. The basic shit has the most staying power.
I'd like to mention though, there was a really cool spanish drink I tried a while ago. I don't remember what it was called, but that'd probably deserve mention. It was very different. |
I'd say Sierra mist is first, coke and pepsi are tied at a close second.

Mountain Dew The Caffinated God of Soda.

Edit: I also liked Pepsi-Kona. As far as what's out there, I'm primarily a Pepsi consumer over Coke products or random other brands. Was there a reason for this question, or just curiousity? |
I just mix whatever's at the fountain (that's carbonated and not diet) with random proportions. Good stuff.

Cherry coke followed by reg'lar coke.

Orange soda, because it's blacktastic.
But, since my mother has outlawed sugary soda, I'm torn between Lime Diet Coke and Vanilla Diet Coke, which actually isn't all that bad. If it weren't for the aftertaste, it would taste like normal coke. |
