I am loving the SOM reference with the cannon travel. If BM ends up in the Upperland, I'll probably die laughing. :p

The only thing I don't understand, is what real benefit there is to sending BM first. I mean, if this thing really is powerful enough to launch BM to an entirely different continent, it isn't like they'll be able to see if he has a safe landing.

The only slight benefit is to find out is whether the cannon is instantly fatal. So unless RM slipped BM a two-way mirror while the comic wasn't looking, I think effectively, all the LWs have done is find a way to rid themselves of a certain teammate.

You're wrong. If he's the first, he becomes the landing, and landing on BM is always preferable than whatever sadistically painful terrain he falls upon.

BM should be alright if he remembers to cast featherfall. And also I wonder if the other LWs will join him or is there going to be another breakup in the team?

Obviously BM won't end up in Lefein at all, as Brian would love nothing more than to dash to pieces the one light in our otherwise dark and foreboding lives by ending 8BT as soon as possible. BM will undoubtedly land right in the Sky Castle directly on top of Tiamat who will be instantly killed. BM will then fall back to earth, crashing through the roof of Sarda's cave where he will find the other Light Warriors with the Air Orb after Fighter remembers that found it years ago and stuck it in the Armoire of Invincibility for safe keeping. Sarda will then transform in Chaos and kill White Mage, causing Black Mage to have an epiphany which he quickly forgets when Fighter mentions how much he loves swords. The series will end with the Light Warriors and Sardaos all having a tea party and the last panel will feature Garland being chased by Forest Imps.

And that's just Tuesday's comic.
