Want to save Startrek? Don't watch it!

At least not for the rest of this month....

Finally, after years of not doing anything decent with the series, Paramont is likely to get rid of Bergman if ratings don't improve. I say 'Woo!' to this, and you should too!

Now, if only Braga's head was also on the chopping block...

I've seen two episodes of Enterprise, and I think it's dumb.

Domon 02-01-2004 04:07 AM

the original is the only good one.

AnonCastillo 02-01-2004 11:04 AM

The original sucked.... Next Generation was the only good one.

Hamelin 02-01-2004 11:24 AM

We don't need to get into a long disussion about what Star Trek is the best, they all have their merits and downfalls.

(Kirk could kick Picard's ass)

Anyway... Hamelin's right, they all have their ups and downs, but I only ever watch Next Gen. and the original (because it's funny as hell... Abe Lincoln, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, fighting Genghis Khan and a couple evil aliens along side a famous Vulcan).

Both of those are now all re-runs, so I guess that means I'm doing my part to keep ratings down?

Although, actually, you guys can watch all you want, unless you have the Nielson books... in which case, you can still watch, but lie and say you were watching something else. That'll drop ratings.

Sky Warrior Bob 02-01-2004 07:43 PM

Do you really need a Nielson box anymore? I'd have thought that with today's tech, cable companies & sat dishes, might be able to keep tabs on what you're watching without having to properly inform you.

Right again, my friend. Unless he got turned human again...then he'd be at The Bald One's mercy. MWAHAHAHAHA!

Mashirosen 02-01-2004 08:37 PM

But everyone is at the Bald One's mercy -- he can kill us all with a single thought from his mighty naked dome!
