Monogames

I was wondering.. does anybody know any games that a person could play by him/her/it -self when bored? And please don't say masturbation.:sweatdrop

Hackey-sack? Solitaire? If you've got clubs handy and can get to a driving range, that's not a bad way to kill a couple of hours.

There's always video games, but I'm gonna assume your purpose here is to solicit options other than videogames.

How about...masterbation? =D

Just kidding. you can always stare absent-mindedly at the wall, or-OH! I hear jobs take up a lot of time. if you can't get one of those, try reading I guess.

i don't have any games, but i try to do something I like instead, like programming :p

Red Fighter 1073 12-19-2006 05:13 PM

You could play one-person sports!

....

Seeing as how no one ever takes that suggestion of mine, I will say a few other things.. Fifth's ideas are all very good suggestions, but if not those, you can always get a yo-yo and see what you can do. If all else fails, you can always get a small rubber ball and throw it against a wall or throw it up in the air and catch it.

I enjoy running around swinging a sword in the back yard just because it exhilarating and I might die because of my stupidity. Also you could practice magic too, lighting things on fire is fun and can be fun. How many kittens can you sacrifice? Cut yourself to talk to spirts! Get a gun and kill thoes god damn birds. It's all good fun. (Maybe not the cutting yourslef to talk to a murder.)

Masturbation isn't a game. It's serious business. :D

Anyway, it might be fun to start up a new hobby. There are all sorts of nice, cheap things you can learn to do by surfing the web, like making a sprite comic!

You could organize and broadcast your own podcast, too (If I had anything important to say, that's what I would do).

Juggling can be fun, and challenging once you get about four things in the air.

You could teach yourself to draw, maybe.

I would go with drawing and/or reading. Or posting obsessively on NPF. I wouldn't recommend it for more than one day though -- it does things to you. Which cannot be undone.

...

If only I could forget

Repress, damnit!

Working out is always good, racing cars between short stop signs on foot is good, conquering the hoola-hoop, skip-it or jump rope or maybe a puzzle. Why would you want to play games by yourself these days anyway? Games are about competition and winning!

I carry a pack of cards everywhere because that is badass, you know, so I always end up playing Blackjack against myself. I have since learned that the House wins way too much. Damn you Vegas!
