Most Posts Awards

In my own uniquly neurotic way, I've skimmed through the member's list to descern who has the most posts on the forum. Since its liquid, I won't say how many because by the time any of you read this it won't be accurate any more.

1) Dante, well into the 2000's
2) IHateMakingNames, also in the 2000's
3) Forever Zero
4) Raiden

I think I placed fifth, but since I was only looking for numbers of over three digits, I'm not sure.

Interesting. You are not encouraged to spam to gain more posts. So awarding people for having the most points seems a little stupid.

It's all about quality, not quantity.

That's right, it's the motion of the oc... oh yah, talking about posts.

Anyway... I never really pay attention to mine... although I have noticed Dante's huge numbers. That's just cause he's big in the RP forum, though. I hope I didn't pass up my 1337th post... I kinda want a screen shot of that.

Edit: Nope, just over halfway there.

I used to lead, but of late IHMN overtook me somewhere around two weeks ago. i;ve been really busy at work and can't post much. But it was good, yes. Good to be number one, if only for a while.

Heh, I miss the days of people like Fingolfin Aeros. I swear to god he had gone from like 6000 posts to 14000 the month after joining LoR.
:D

You know, here pretty much none of the oldbies really care about how many times someone posted. All it is really is just a number. What really counts is what you actually put into the posts that makes people remember.

Domon 02-02-2004 11:02 AM

well i'm just glad that i have 100 posts :)
even though i come here daily i rarely post.

CheshireThief 02-02-2004 12:34 PM

I don't really post much either, but I check for new posts like 5 times a day. :D

Er...you do realize you can look at the Members List, then sort it by post count, right?
;)

When you do that, the "Top 5 Posters" are a bit different.
1) IHateMakingNames
2) Dante
3) Forever Zero
4) JADGuy
5) Raiden

As for your post count...let's see...you would be:
11) Lycanthrope

Though I would like to stress as everyone else has that post counts don't really matter, quality not quanity, blah, blah, blah.

Lycanthrope 02-02-2004 12:52 PM

Thanks for the correction, Gram. :o

And Rai, actually, there aren't very many spammers among the top list (they get shut down early I guess)
