Alright, our last thread closed so I talked to Mashirosen and he had no idea what I was talking about and told me to just start a new one.

Sorry I haven't been answering all the responses especially Sado-Yasha and BillyBones. I've been busy. I almost have the first episode script done and would love editors. I sent it to some of the main people (CelesJessa, Monch, etc.) but none of them have commented back on it. I really don't want to post it here for everyone to read. Am I being to paranoid about this?

Every one has good ideas, but I've really been conserned with just getting started, so I haven't had time to seriously review them all. Keep them in mind, fine tweak them if need be, and get them back to me later. Keep up the good work, and anything random but funny or cool is still appreciated. We don't have to be serious all the time.

I would usually have more sketches of the character I'm supposed to design, but art class is draining me of my artisticness... (and I'm trying to take school a little more seriously and not draw in class all of the time)
So don't worry. ^^;; I'm still working on a character design... Do you have any specifications of what you want her to be wearing. Like, do you want her fairly modestly dressed, or long hair/short hair... ^^;;

Well I drew this version of Tychael to show my interest in the project. If anyone cares, I'll gladly color it with a pallette suggestion, since I suck at coming up with good pallettes. I'll help with anything else---what about the characters for the filler episodes, need any help designing those?

Oi. If you're drawing for this... I'm gonna feel very substandard...... (bwah, but you've inspired me to get off of my lazy butt and work dilligently on my character...... ^^;;; )

But enough with that. Very nice character (I lvoe the design). Do you only use pencil on your pictures?

I can't draw at all, but I was thinking about the advesaries (Sp? :P) and I came up with a few ideas. The names suck, but that comes later really. Getting a sketch (if anyone thinks these are decent..especially Dragonglove, seeing as it's his project.) is primary before names....anyway. On to the descriptions.

Vampire Guy

Had a covered face with nothing but the eyes showing and the hair sticking out (Ala Vincent from FF7). Wears robes, but underneath (Should he throw off his robe or something) he has a pulsing breastplate with a blue gem in the center. One of his arms is pure shadow, and the other has a rather nasty scimitar in it. (Curved blade. Doesn't fit with the period really, but scimitars are cool.) Maybe he's a demon hunter (...talk about calling the kettle black) or some such..or he hates dragons. *shrug*

Necromancer

This man (or woman.) has fun raising the dead for his/her foul purposes. Dressed in robes of pure black, with slight red trim around the sleeves and hood. Face would most likely be shadowed, but if revealed, it would show heavily decaying flesh. Perhaps have part of the skull exposed in spots. (Better if colored..but it might work otherwise.) He has a scythe (Long pole with a curved blade attached...like Magus's weapon in CT.) with a barbed inside edge. Would have a great deal of undead minions (lichs, skeletons, more flesh rotting zombies, Flaming zombies, with the burning flesh dripping off like candle wax...and I've scared people now.) that would be fought against along the way before they ever got to the Necromancer. Would use magic with terrifying effects, but it would be just as slow as Tychael's (Sp?) magic.

I hope that these are decent ideas, even though it didn't take me long to come up with, they're still interesting in their own right.

There's the shirt. I want the artists to get some practice with that shirt design (that means you too Zephir :p ). Good job getting his face down. I am worried about his hair length. I think it should be just a little longer. Kai did it where I want it. Her picture is still in the last thread if you need something to look at.

I just thought of a couple of challenges for the artists. First, try drawing a close up shot of Tychael's whole head with his mouth open showing off his fangs. Second, the inclusion of Chibi-Tychael in Macharticle's picture makes me wonder if we should include Chibi comedy scenes. Maybe even we could have a main action story and then a subset story of few-frame comics in chibi-comedy style. What do you think?

And how long would it add to the "production time" if we colored every frame? I was thinking just pencil throughout but if it doesn't take that long maybe we should color it.

I haven't thought of the girl's (we still need a name) style as far as hair and clothes go. I'm open to any suggestions. I don't want her to be completely covered up but not baring all either. Just remember, unlike Tychael, her wings are perminant. They do get covered up by Tychael in the first episode though.

And those are pretty good ideas Death Dealer, but like I said in the first post, I'm concentrating too hard on the first episode and getting started to worry about the future too much.

Oh yeah, and did you make a final decision on the kinds of wings you want her to have? (butterfly, angel, misc, etc)

And drawing on crappy paper is alright as long as you can see the picture, right?

Maybe Ariel for one of girls names?

If you ask me, it would probably triple, maybe even quadruple the production time if every frame was colored. Plus it would get kind of messy since it's graphite and all and thus tends to smear like crazy. It could probably be done by someone who's good with photoshop, but I'm not sure...My experience tells me that wouldn't be too aesthetically appealing...
