"I did think you looked a bit odd for a man back there." He said realization dawning on him. "This is an interesting development now isn't it dearie? I must say though your tactics were spectacular." He said putting an arm around her. "But now the question lies, do we kill each other or work together?"

She steps back and thinks for a bit. "The question is, do I kill a man i've been trying to kill for sometime now, or do i work with a man i despise beyond any human being. Ah, what the hell!" she hugs him and pats him on the back. "Looks like we're woking together."

The monk has been sitting down, quietly observing this conversation. finally he says
"I have been to many places, to the fung-kor peninsula (Korea), around the Middlle kingdom (China), and even to the top of the world (Tibet). yet I have never met anyone answering to the name of "pirate". Would you mind if I go with you, upon meditating on this, this path seems to call for me. I can defend myself and others, heal, never get lost, I can carry the Way with us, that we may never lose our path, and I can do the most menial jobs effortlessly and with out complaint. please allow me to acompany you.
I seek the one eared man as he would see you dead, Lucretia, and if you leave this place upon a ship, he will not threaten you. My duties can be set upon anouther brother's shoulders.
I can not sit by, however, and see the posrtmaster robbed and murdered. But I can provide us with a ship, in little time.

"Now, pretend I'm just a simple man," Kane said very seriously to Lucretia and Li, "and have followed none of your conversation. Put it in simpler terms for me. As in...unmistakeably simple, because I'd hate to make a...mistake here."

ooc: I'm oriental, basically a drunken master version of jack sparrow, and pirates did exist in that area. Also we were whispering Stover. It was implied but w/e.

"Don' worry love, I'll handle this." Li whispered to Lucretia. He then turned to Stover. "I was simply explaining to the lady here how I sailed to the lands of zanzabar with my orangutan first mate Curly. He didn't talk much but could play a mean accordian. I think his mother treated him badly you know?" He said making it seem that he was drunker than should be humanly possible. "Speaking of which you're turning a lovely shade of green fellow." He then passed out

(Wispering. Right.)

"Indeed. Hmmm..."

"Well, I suppose this means you're going to go on a ship. I'll pass on that. Been a merchant gaurd on a ship for longer than I care to tell, and have the scars to prove it. Literally. Think I'll try life on land for a while. Thus I'll bid you all farewell."

Kane then steps forward to Li, bends down, and pats him on the side: "If he ever bursts into flames, I think we'll all know why."

He gets up, and puts a hand in his pocket. "As a matter of fact, I think I'll have a drink on him...er, to him sometime." He then turns and begins to leave, hand still in his pocket.

"Hey, now don't you go no where mate! I do believe that we have a use for a man of your talents." The drunk said, bounding up from the floor in a fluid movement and cutting off his exit. "I do sincerely believe that we could make it worth your while to join up with us. Now couldn't we luv? Whadda ya say to us gettin the money your boss used to close the port and givin' say a quarter of it to you?"

"Well, if you'd like to pay me more...er, if you'd pay me, I suppose I'll come along, I guess. Not like I have anything better to do, even more so since I was...er, am penniless..."

He looks down at his pocket suddenly and asks: "You spent a lot of money on booze, didn't you?"

She looks at the three men impatiently. "Well, if we'regoing to be leaving, i'll need to pack." She runs into a seperate room, but before she goes in, she signals for Li to folllow her, but so the other two men woulldn't notice.
