The bartender grabs her saber and holds it up to the back of the neck of Kane. "And I do hope that you're not planning on getting blood on my nicely clean floors. Now, put that away, or else. sir."

"I don't think you understand, miss. I was a gaurd on a merchant ship for a reason. Two of them, really. One: I know how to use this.' He suddenly steps forward, draws the sword, and in one swift motion, slams Lucretia's blade away and points it at her neck. After a long second, he sheathes the sword. "And two: I hate pirates."


After a few moments of scilence, he adds to Lucretia: "...and....uh...sorry about the whole sword thing. You just touched that sore spot on my neck and it sorta irked me. That, and the fact that you could have killed me. That bothered me too. Make ammends?"

"Now see, SHE'LL be a natural at this!!" He said and put his arms around both of them "But seriously luvs, give peace a chance will ya?" He said, promptly placing big kisses on both of their faces.

"Jesus!" He shoves Rhuhuael away. "Listen, boozeboy, just a simple question for you: are you a pirate?"

"Erm, maybe once... I don't quite remember. But I DO know that I bought this flask off a rummrunner from the other side of the world. I think he was a part of some kinda pirate ring. But still... No I don't think so." He said feeling perplexed.

Kane sighs, partially annoyed, partially relieved. "That'll have to do, I suppose. Y'see, I don't like pirates."

ooc: you... you knocked my saber out of my hand. That was just mean. I'm hurt..... i'm very hurt. I need a huggle damn it!! ... okay, i'm over that. tehehehe

She looks at Stover and glares. "Let's just say after that stunt, you're now below the drunk in my eyes." She walks over and picks up her saber. She then turns to the drunk. "And if you ever touch me again, I'll punch you so hard you'll be drinking beer out of a straw, through your ass." She then sheethed her saber and turnedd to Kane. "If you have a problem with pirates, get over it. Because you've been talking to one for a while now. I'm not trying to be rude, since we might have to be together for a while, but don't be getting on my bad side."

"Oh now you see you'd think you would dearie but the fact is I'm so good at this I have trouble hitting m'self." He said swaying forward so he was WAY too close to Lucretia. "However I do like the spunk, luv." He swayed back to where he had been. Strangely enough he had moved about four feet without moving his feet.

"'Get over it'...right. Lemme tell you exactly why I hate pirates. I have been a merchant gaurd much of my life. On one such job, the ship I was on was captured, despite my best efforts. However, I made quite a show of myself, swinging from the riggings, killing pirates, laughing, and so on that the pirate captian decided he'd..." Kane pauses, and lets out a ragged sigh:"...he'd teach me a little...lesson.

"They strapped me stomach down, spread eagle to the deck of the ship. The captain then pulled out a rusty knife...and carved the first three letters of his name into my back. Luckily for me, the pirate ship was overtaken by a naval vessel, and the doctor on board was able to save me. I only had a raging fever, minor tetnus, and minor amounts of ganegreen for...oh...3 months." Kane paused for a moment. "Just...just take that into consideration when you judge my actions."

she nods and smiles. "Well, let me see the initials, eh? Maybe I can help you get revenge on this pirate?"
