I have to agree with IHMN on the Celes thing, but until I hear differently, I'll just assume you talked to her first... because it'd be awfully irresponsible to include another character in your bio without asking them. And I wouldn't assume that you'd be irresponsible like that.

As for the fire thing... well... I couldn't really care either way. The way the bio reads he could be fire, earth, or water. Fire = strength to move that sword, Earth = his size and I doubt he's going to take much damage when hit by most things, Water = he can fight well, but also control the spells of others (balance). Seems IHMN just wants fire to be special. I was kinda hoping to be the only wind person too, but like everyone else, someone started bitin' my style.


Edit: And speaking of IC relations... Ciaran is SO going to start hitting on Carolina in the FF RP... just to piss Ark off. Because I doubt they'll get along very well (Ark is kind of a happy go lucky free-spirit type, normally... Ciaran is a calm, composed type. Conflicting attidudes)...

Don't worry. He talked to me first about it. I changed my bio around a little, but I'm just basically going with what he wrote.

If I can I would like to be the only fire (Who wouldn't want to be the only one of a certain element?) And I see his guy only Fire for the sword thing, thought that could easily make sense with Earth to. And Earth makes more sense with the spell breaker idea, since Earth people are the defenders, spell breakers defend from mages. Since none of the elements are mental, Earth is probably the closest thing for spell breaker with a gaint sword. Water after that.

And yes, he did ask Celes first. I still have my suspicious that he is turning into Raiden though.

Edit - And for your guy krylo, I'm assuming that he will be horrible at slashing people, and only stabbing works because of his rapier. Mainly he will be dodging most attacks, waiting for a good moment to do a quick stab?

More or less. When I say rapier I mean the kind of rapiers that Priest is always posting in those sword threads we have in general from time to time.

He CAN slash, but it wouldn't do a whole lot of damage because the blade isn't that sharp along the edges... so that part is mostly right... but the blade is thick enough to parry well, so he'll probably do about as much parrying as dodging.

His fighting style will be like a very very clumsy version of Ciaran's, when you get to see him pull out his sword.

A rapier may be meant mostly for thrust/puncture, but that doesn't mean the edges aren't sharp. Because they are.

I know that (Blunt sides), but I also meant because he was wind, he wouldn't have natural strenght like an earth or fire to do a good slash (Hence maybe the choice of a raiper over a claymore)

Edit - Since Ecurt put in elements with phsyical properties, it just seems right to try and stick to it...

At the same time, a slashing move in which only the last inche of the blade hits the person will be very effective. Even more so since a thrust, even a small one, puts you off balence and off gaurd.

Why should you get to be the only fire? (and FIRE, of all elements!) Fire is MY element (normally)... But I wanted to be different that usual.

I said I would like to be if possible. And I just think Earth is the element View should be using, not Fire. If you used it, I would assume you would be doing big burning and blowing up thingies for spells, so as long as fit it would be fine.
