Bio: Rena grew up in an orphanage in a city by the coast. She was found at the age of 5 by her 'older sister' Jania, who was the oldest one at the orphanage-and their natural protector. Rena was perfectly happy reading her books of magic (which she had taken quite a liking to, even to the extent of learning some water-based magic) and lore while Jania protected them from everything- from the nobles, who thought that the orphanage should be burnt, to the bullies who thought they were better than the children, because they had real parents.... But the orphanage was low on medicine and Jania was afflicted by an illness. The only hope was to send her into the city to find a doctor who could cure her, so they sent Rena along with Jania into the city (since their foster mother had to stay with the younger children). However, there was nothing the doctor could do, and Jania died. Rena couldn't bring herself to return home without Jania, so she wandered for awhile, lost. She met a man by the name of Jason in her travels, and after a bit, they joined the academy together. She vowed to join and become a brave fighter so she could protect people like Jania had once done.
Appearance: Short blonde hair, the bangs longer than the rest of her hair. She wears a long-sleeved shirt (either 3 quarter's length sleeves, or full length sleeves that bell out at the bottom), with the sholders of it cut out. She wears a black skirt-like thing. She has thigh-high stockings and boots. (she's wearing a belt or two. ^^ Belts are cool.) (I'll try and draw her sometime for a better idea of what she looks like.
Other: She has gotten to the point in her training where she can do more with her water magic- such as freeze it and make ice, which she does to help her fight and such.

I suggest adding a baynet Stover, so you can stab people who get to close.

And I can't think of a name for my Fire element fighter who uses chains and whips and is a lock pick and semi-thief...

*shakes head* (dumb comment is haunting me) I'm telling you- if you get to have whips and chains, I'm demanding that my character gets a cattle prod and hedgeclippers. Mua ha.

And yes, he is having multiple whips and chains

Probably not. Because bayonetts are heavy by nature (they are often as long as foot and very thick) and becuase they go on the very end of the rifle, they make the rifle much harder to hold straight and aim. Besides, bayonetts often get stuck in the victim.

Instead, I plan on using the rifle a bit like a quarterstaff; dodge and parry blows until I can smash the butt into the opponent's face.

Edit: I think Apple-Pie would make a good name for you. But if you really need a name, I could look up a couple words in Latin (like chain or whip, for instance) and make it into a name.

Yeah.... Well. I guess I'm all for inside jokes (that I'm the only one who will get them) this week... (if you look on thesaurus.com and look up 'clean' you come up with "Apple Pie"- that's not the joke, but that's where we got "apple pie" for the original joke)
But Aple-pi is a great name! It would be humorous if you would have picked it.

So are you gonna choose any of the ones I suggested, or should I think of more?

I'm using Aple-pi Catena (Catena is latin for chain, since I couldn't find the latin word for whip).

And I've noticed a lot of people are orphans, so I'm making my guy one. Now I'm wondering if anyone else who was in an orphanage that could have past relations with my guy. (Which is about half of the people who signed up)

Can we call you Cate for short? No? How about Ap?

Nevermind about the orphanage thing. After looking at all the bios again, the only person actually in an orphanage is Celes, everyone else either went to the academy or lived alone as a child.
