Anyone else like Venom? I can't wait to see him in SP3, the only bad thing is they'll probably just make him a villian, which Venom isn't, not to go on a nerd rant or anything, but Eddie Brock is a better superhero then Spider-man at times. Anyone else have something to say about Venom?

Venom isn't in the third movie. The sympiot which makes up part of venom is. If they make a fourth movie he should be in it but there is no garentee they wil make one.

I thought he was going to be in it at the end, being he gets the suit, right after Spidy gets rid of it, but you might be right.

The suit itself was Venom, wasn't it? Either way I thought I saw a casting for Eddie Brock in the credits on IMDB.

the suit itself is not Venom. Venom is made up of Eddie Brock and the symbiot. Hence the infamous line "We are Venom"

My theory is that the third movie will end on a lame cliffhanger of eddie brock turning into venom he'll be the villan in spiderman 4. Unless the third movie flops, I think they'll definitely make a fourth one imo.

What are you talking about? Interviews with all the stars, producers, and directors have confirmed that Venom was the villain of the climactic fight scene in Spider-man 3. They even showed a small clip of him at the last Comic Con, I believe. I mean, who the hell do you suppose this is?

And before you say its Peter Parker, look at the hair. It's close shaven around the sides, and Tobey Mcguire's isn't in this movie. Also, Sony confirmed that it was Venom.

man, look at those teeth... you wouldn't think that he'd be changed by venom if it isn't even on that part of his body...

Look it's pretty simple, Venom as Superhero = Teh Suck. We're talking about a guy who eats people's brains for crying out loud, only the bottomless cesspit of depravity that was comic books in the mid-90s could ever have spawned anything so ridiculous as Venom being a superhero.

Venom was awesome when they first came up with him, as that guy who as soon as he showed up it was like "OH SHIT IT'S VENOM!" and then you know Spidey was getting the holy hell beaten out of him for like the next four issues.

::shrugs:: I still think Venom and Spiderman won't fight in the third movie (he'll be in it probably as long as Darthvader was in Revenge of the Sith). They already have him battling the new green goblin and the sandman, why would they squeeze in a last battle for Venom? I hope I'm wrong (I really do) but I doubt they'll fight (and if they do, it will be some quick bs fight or just spidey getting the crap kicked out of him and cliffhanger on that), why would they add in the sandman and the new green goblin if venom was the main villain? Seems kind of dumb, who wants a last quick fight with Venom? Also, if Venom was the big epic battle, why wouldn't they show clips of that in the preview? You see him fighting everyone but Venom, why the smoke and mirrors? imo it's pretty obvious Venom is barely going to be in this movie, because if he really was the villain they wouldn't have bothered putting the other villains in the movie. If Venom was the focus you'd know and if he's not the focus, who cares? I think they are just using Venom as a marketing ploy to get all the comic readers from the early and mid 90's when marvel was making a crap load of money excited so they'll go see the movie because of Venom.
